About the author

M. Malone is a RITA® Award winner and a NYT & USA Today Bestselling author of completely inappropriate romantic comedy. She lives with her husband and their two sons in the picturesque mountains of Northern Virginia even though she is afraid of insects, birds, butterflies and other humans.
Since starting her indie publishing journey in 2011, she has sold over a million books and her titles have hit the NYT and USA Today bestseller lists more than a dozen times.
She also holds a Master's degree in Business from a prestigious college that would no doubt be scandalized at how she's using her expensive education. MinxMalone.com

- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2014Finn is book 2 of the Blue Collar Billionaires by M. Malone. The book is simply great but too short. I was into the lives of Finn and Rissa and didn’t want to leave. The characters are quite believable and the plot is not too complex that you have to think too hard about it. I can barely wait until the next book comes out.
Finn Marshall with his brother Tank was raised by his Mother after their Father left them. Now after all these years, their Father wants back in their lives and approaches them with a great deal of money just to meet with him. Although he really didn’t want to, Finn accepted the money so he could help his mother when she came down with cancer. This also means he met the other three “sons” his Father had. One of these “sons” is Luke whose mother works at the diner Finn has started frequenting so he can get to know Luke. Finn had been in Iraq and Afghanistan and was out of the Army on a medical discharge. He is still trying to overcome his wounds and is getting hooked on pills. He is getting used to having money and the power that comes with it. He wants to get Marissa back and thinks his money will do it.
Marissa Blake had broken up with Finn Marshall because she could not see his settling down with her and giving her the security she craved. Alexander could give her this security; but she found out he also gave her a lot of grief and left him. He continually does things to make sure she knows he controls people and things. All she wants to do is get rid of him and have her business Maids-4-U do well. She, Tara, and Daphne need the income from a very lucrative offer to clean a new high rise and penthouse. The terms are a little strange; but people with money are different anyway. She is not as eager for the job when she finds out Finn is the owner. However, she will do this for her company.
What will happen when Finn and Rissa are together for a while? Will Luke decide to meet the other boys? Will Alexander finally get out of Marissa’s life? Is money and power enough to get Rissa back? Can Finn continue to keep his addiction to pills hidden?
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2015I continue to enjoy this series although I must admit that I didn't like this book as much as I liked the first book: Tank. The story was very well written but I thought the ending was wrapped up too quickly and too neatly; almost felt like the author rsn out of steam.
It was also harder for me to like Finn as a hero: I know he felt wounded and betrayed by Rissa but for heaven's sake, he was still holding onto stuff that happened when they were starry eyed teens! I also thought he should have been a little older than 25 given all that he had been thru. I liked Rissa and her close knit group of friends, I didn't always understand why she was giving Finn a second chance.
Still a good, absorbing plot.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2014I didn't like Finnigan aka Finn at first but I realize why he attempted to do what he did to Rissa. Addiction can make a person become insane and very unbalanced. Rissa was determined to take whatever Finn tossed at her. Andrew deserved the beatdown he received. I so love Claire in this book too. She knew Finn was taking her meds but was waiting for him to admit it to her. Finn & Rissa finally put their past behind them and are starting fresh...together. I'm also glad that Finn kept pestering his brother Luke with his visits and then Tank, Emma & Sasha shows up. I see Sasha with Luke in his book. Can't wait for the next book. Great job Minx !!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2015I liked this book description when I read it. I still think the idea of the poor guy that lost his first love to a rich man, then getting revenge on her is a good one. This book had potential for me but it fell short.
There were holes that I felt weren't filled.
My biggest one was Andrew, the rich man that stole Rissa from Finn. We know nothing about him except that he abused Rissa.
Where did he come from? How did he lure her away? What was his profession? How did they live , and most importantly, what caused Rissa to finally leave. His character is under developed. We have nothing in his POV that shows what he's thinking. He was in her house once, called/texted a couple times, then came to her door. That's it. If we saw why Rissa left, this would have been a lot more satisfying for me.
I liked Finn and Rissa's characters. I think Finn caved a little too early for my taste, but he was still so much in love. He just couldn't fight it any longer.
Rissa paid a very steep price for leaving Finn. Once he was back she fell right back in. Totally understandable.
I would have liked to see this book close out all the characters.
Where do Finn and Rissa go next? Does Claire recover? What does Rissa do with her building, what happened up Daphne & Tara?
I don't think I'm pursuing this series. This story was ok, but not my idea of a really good book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh boy do I love Minx Malone
Oh boy do I love Minx Malone! Once again she takes me into a totally believable world with characters that you can't help but love. Just a warning her world is addictive, I want to be in the Alexander's world, but all I can do is wait til the next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging
I really like this story and the flow between this and Tank is engaging. The storyline works without too much sex which other authors tend to use which drowns out the plot. M. Malone has found the right balance and I look forward to the rest of the series

3.0 out of 5 stars Overall o.k, but I had some issues
I enjoyed reading the first book of this series "Tank", but not so much "Finn".
The story line was interesting getting revenge on the ex-girlfriend who is building a cleaning service with her friends. But the execution was not. I was struggling with finding the situation believable. Although it is fiction the storyline and the circumstances must somehow be logical and comprehensible.
What I did not like:
*********************Spoiler*****************************************
- Finn immediately falls for her again and so does she, then they have an on-off-relationship.
- It did not become clear whether Rissa was divorced or just living seperate from her husband. What was the deal with his/her house, owned or rented?
- No wonder her company is close to bankruptcy when Rissa does not send out bills for extra cleaning hours. I cannot believe none of three women cares for a business plan. They got more money than expected from cleaning Finn's building that should keep them afloat.(....With the amount of money from this deal...we won't have to worry about that for a long time/chapter 2). So why do they worry at the end of the book?
- Not much interaction with the billionaire father. I especially liked those scenes in the first book.
*******************Spoilerende******************************************
Some chapters start with good intentions (moving in discharged soldiers, getting to know the youngest brother) but than are not carried on.
I still don't know whether I will continue reading this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hunky ex turned instant billionaire, and he wants you back? Yes Please.
This is the first of the Blue-Collar Billionaires series that I've read. I was a little put off by how Finn didn't give Rissa a chance to do anything, he just decided to take care of her. It was also really sweet. As for the rest of the story, it was a very cute romance with a little twist thrown in -- the three 'new' brothers that were no doubt introduced in the first book-- Tank.
Overall a catchy read and one that I will most likely be looking to expand on. I will probably be reading the rest of the books at one point
