Fairy War (The Fae Age Book 1) Kindle Edition
A battle rages, though it’s invisible to most. It isn’t between countries and militaries, it’s between magical creatures who inhabit Earth alongside humans. It’s been getting worse, and now threatens to destroy everyone. The only way to succeed is for fairies and humans to unite and work together. And Clint learns he's one of the few chosen humans who can lead this war.
In a world where fairy tales were banned and magical creatures are driven into hiding, uniting against an enemy seems an impossible task, even if failing to do so means the deaths of everyone everywhere.
But the impossible doesn’t daunt Clint, even as alliances form and break, secrets are revealed, trusts are broken, and lives are lost.

About the author

I write sci-fantasy/fantasy stories, and have several either written or being planned. Fairy War isn't the first idea I had, but it's evolved from a vague concept, to a university assignment, to my first step into a world of stories I hope to write. As a member of the LGBT+ community I try to ensure all my stories have some form of representation within them.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2023Imaginative and enjoyable fantasy novel of a wars between worlds. A story of an unassuming youth who finds out he has a much bigger role to play. If you like the genre, it's definitely worth the read!! I can also appreciate the wide range of representation in the novel, which keeps the story feeling fresh at every twist.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2022I’ve encountered my fair share of orcs, trolls, goblins, elves, and dwarves—but never fairies, until now. I picked up this book on a whim and I’m glad I did. It works very well as a YA fantasy with a few older types thrown in for wider appeal. I was impressed by the sheer scope of the novel. It starts out small—as you might expect from the title—as humans shrink to fairy size to lend their assistance to war between various races of wee folk and their fallen brethren who have turned to the dark side. From there, the plot moves at brisk pace, never letting up as battles rage, romances bloom, and lives are uprooted. For the three teenage protagonists, life will never be the same again, as their roles in the fairy war take shape. The novel offers a panoramic view of a world that has remained hidden from modern eyes—until now—broadening to encompass the fates of entire continents. The theme is optimistic in its hope that different factions can come together for a common cause and that individuals can discover deeper truths about themselves in the process.
