Fallen Angel is like the Godfather meets "Insert Sexiest Book/Movie you've watched or read."

This book was a true pleasure to read, Tracie Podger you have a gift for storytelling. Fallen Angel drew me in right from the beginning, and I didn't want to put it down! As far as HOT ASS Alpha Male's go - damn, Robert Stone could give any sexy, billionaire hero a run for their money. AND Brooke Stiles, I love her. She is strong, and I most certainly love a confident fearless leading lady.

I'm going to review this book differently than I do most... there is so much to say, but I want to hit the "highlights" because YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

1. This is not your typical Contemporary Romance story where the Hot CEO meets the shy young lady. Feisty Brooke Stiles isn't scared to stand up to Robert. AMAZING emotional dynamic between the two characters.

2. While Robert Stone is flawed (and aren't we all in some way?), he is quite possibly is the perfect Alpha - charming, powerful, dark and mysterious.

3. Read this book for the drama, twists and turns alone - INTENSE, left me on the edge of my seat.

4. Let's talk about the sex scenes... {fans self} HOT, BURNING, SCORCHING... I think my kindle melted.

    This was my first book, I have read by Tracie Podger. I must say she is a fantastic writer and this story blew me away. The story draws you in and you are at the edge of your seat until the end. This story takes you on one hell of a ride and I can't wait to read book 2 of the series to find out what happens next.

    I am gonna do a brief recap but without spoiler's as you will want to read this book for yourself!

    Brooke needs to get away from her life back home so she decides to go visit her friend Sam. Brooke's life is about to be turned upside down when she meets Robert. When there eyes meet she senses danger but yet she is so drawn to him. I think it is because he is hot alpha male, mysterious and trouble with a capital T. We all know, we love those bad boys. Robert has not had a normal relationship with a woman because of his past. I enjoyed finding out some of the mysteries of his past.

    I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story, the characters, the plot twists. It is well written, flows smoothly and is easy to read. The author does a great job portraying the characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through.

    I love the lead female Brooke Stiles. She is on a vacation in Washington DC to visit her best friend Sam. Being in a new country is a bit of a shock to her. She is a strong independent woman, who is at a crossroad in her life. Now it is time to figure out who she is and what she wants.

    Sam has been Brooke's best friend for 25 years. He is a fun, loving, compassionate person. He would do anything to see Brooke happy. He is very much a drama queen.

    Robert is a powerful businessman. He has an air of superiority, is intimidating and a bit frightening. While he may seem like a ladies man to some he does not feel that way about himself. He is a very private person and is not one to show emotion freely.

    Once I started the book I didn't want to put it down. I had to keep reading to see what going to happen next. Overall I enjoyed the book very much. There was nothing I didn't like about the book, but the only thing I thought odd about the book, was that with it being a Mafia Romance, there wasn't much about it being Mafia until the end. While there were hints and slight undertones that there was more than what meets the eye, it is only the last few chapters that you get the the feel that it is truly a mafia book.

    Based on a recommendation post on Facebook, I purchased the Fallen Angel Series by Tracie Podger. I have read and re-read them at least 6+ times. Wow and so hot!! These books are outstanding and a pleasure to read. Even through obstacles and tragedies, this is a beautiful love story between Robert and Brooke. Each story and character development made each character more real to me, and I was transported to another world while reading. I couldn't put them down. This is what you want in a story and I loved every single minute. If I could give this book 10 stars, I would and I am so glad that I find this author's books.

    I would love to be able to say that this book was the best book I'd read this year. That isn't quite true, but I knew from the first page on, that the book had potential to be extraordinary. We'll start there and work our way down.

    The story, the concept, the arc - just wonderful. I was getting tired of "mafia" stories being about Russians and Albanians, and whatever. In Europe, you say Cosa Nostra, but somehow in the U.S. they're Mafia. The Russians and Albanians are brutal, uncaring, violent, bloody and nothing better than gangs. I was getting so tired of people romanticizing them and I was really pleased to see that Ms. Podger didn't do that. The dialogue in this book is realistic for the two personality types and the narrative is consistent.

    The part that took away stars? The misuse of odd grammatical phrases and mis-spellings. There were sentences that needed editing and whole paragraphs that were filled with spelling errors and the misuse of words. Proofing and editing were not standouts in the production of this book. And yes, it DID take away from the book for me, not because there were "just a few" but because there were so many. Multiple times, I found myself re-reading a paragraph just to make sure that the error didn't cause me to read something incorrectly. That's frustrating for someone who reads as much as I do. Yes, I know errors get around everyone, and one or two you won't find me complaining about, but many and yes, I will.

    Is it making me stop reading? NOPE. I've already read up to Book 6, so I have to say that is HOW GOOD the story is. Thank you Ms Podger for your imagination and your story-telling skills.

For all of you who read the title of a book and skip past the cover and make your mind up there and then, stop doing that. Read the blurb, ask around. This book is EPIC!!     Who loves a hot bad boy? Yeah me too but Robert Stone is no hot bad boy. He's a hot dangerous man. Jesus I have had tingles running all over my body reading this book.
    This man has been a danger to my blood pressure.

    Okay here's a little spoiler free summary.
    Brooke Stiles travels to America to visit her life long best friend Sam and his partner Scott after walking out on her relationship with now ex, Michael.

    Not even after being there a week she comes face to face with the most dangerous pair of eyes she's ever come across. She has conflicting emotions and well basically her whole life is flipped up side down.

    Secrets, so many secrets. Drama, so much drama. Sex, so much sex, smiley face inserted here. Danger, so much danger.
    The story of Robert Stone and Brooke Stiles is one crazy loving rollercoaster ride.

    Best friends become part of you, making them family. Blood doesn't make up family. The bonds that tie people together can be stronger than any blood relative.

    While Robert is trying to deal with work, protecting those who mean so much to him, Brooke is trying to come to terms with what it means to be in a relationship with a man like Robert. Really she knows she has no choice. HE IS THE ONE!! No more doubts, no more searching, she feels it deep in her heart and in her soul that he is the man she needs to be with and Robert needs Brooke like he needs air to breathe.

    God this read is intense but so magical. I swear I must of sworn at least a hundred times while reading. I was gasping, smiling, swearing. The Author brought out so many emotions that it can only mean one thing, no make that two. She portrayed the characters so well that the story came alive for me. I was so gripped by this book I could not put it down.
    I have to say Author Tracie Podger is an exceptional writer that has a new fan.
    Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have beyond loved this book.

    Brooke Stiles decides to leave behind her life in England and go and visit her friend in Washington for a three week holiday. On her first day she meets her friends boss, CEO Robert Stone. Robert is intense and there is an instant attraction and pull towards him. He is damaged and dangerous, he does not do relationships, so when he sees Brooke he is blown away by the extreme feelings he has for her.

    Brooke feels that she has always known him and a relationship very quickly develops.

    Brooke questions his past, needing to know more about Robert, but he is hesitant that when she finds out she will leave. Brooke is warned that if and when she finds out his secrets she will be tied to him forever. In the back of her mind she knows that she has to make the decision, should she stay or go? Whilst making her decision she gets sucked into Roberts world and his past comes back to cause trouble for everyone involved.

    Unlike other stories of rich millionaires and innocent, weak women this story has a strong female lead. Brooke can take care of herself and in her quest to get to know Robert she has to learn to sometimes just accept things, ask another time, let things be and enjoy the ride.

    This story is about two people connecting with each other, it's not paranormal, there are no actual angels. I enjoyed this book and read it over two days. It has drama and some suspense, I wasn't completely gripped and desperate to know what happened next, like Brooke I waited and took my time, letting the information and the next piece of the puzzle come to me when it was ready. I am very interested in Robert Stone and I know that he has more to him, he is one sexy man and I will be reading part 2 and the other books that follow.

    This book captivated me from the start. Brooke is a very strong female character, which I loved straight away and Robert is your Alpha male kind. ;)
    Brooke is going to Washington DC, to spend some quality time with her best friend Sam. (who I love) She has just split from a boring 10 year relationship. She wants time away from her ex because he can't quite get it through his head that they aren't together any more.
    Brooke meets Mr Stone on her first day there, then he invites her for dinner, they have a wild night of sex. But Brooke is slowly starting to fall in love with him.
    Robert Stone is the kind of man that has one night stands. He wont have a relationship for fear of his past coming out. He doesn't understand how to love or be loved. Robert struggles with his feelings for Brooke, when someone normally gets too close he pushes them away, but he can't do that with Brooke, there is something different about her.
    Brooke knows what she has been searching for, he has just been found. Her future is already planned for her and she has to try to heal a man that is truly broken by his past.
    This book is about a couple who meet, fall in love but have there ups and downs. They don't run away, Brooke and Robert both want it to work so they push through all of their hard times.
    I loved this book!!
    It is such a strong and powerful story, Brooke and Robert are amazing characters and they work so well together. It was not at all what I was expecting from the story, there were twists and turns that where so unexpected and unpredictable.
    I don't want to go into too much detail about the book because I don't want to ruin anything but Robert's back story was NOT what I expected at all. I loved Everly and Travis, they are Robert's support and family he needs.
    Brooke has had a hard life too, but she isn't one to sit and feel sorry for herself.

    This was a lovely story about love, fighting for what you want, trust in other people and so much more.

    If you haven't read this story then what the hell are you waiting for?

    I bought the three available books back in August when i was lucky enough to meet the author Tracie, however i shelved them until i had time to read them but with book number 4 just around the corner, i thought i had better hurry up and read them.

    Now i am wondering why i waited so long? AMAZING!!! It kept me gripped from the very beginning. I now LOVE Robert Stone, he's so dark and mysterious and i can't wait to find out more about this hot alpha male's past.

    Fallen Angel (part one) is very well written and flowed nicely. It was so intense that once i started i couldn't put it down. So gripping, it kept me turning the pages.

    I gave it the 5 massive stars it deserves. Well done Tracie, i can't wait to start part two!!
