    I'm a sucker for the "damsel in distress" themed novels so that's what initially got me interest in this one. What I wasn't expecting was how big of a role BDSM plays throughout the story but what I really really wasn't expecting was how much I enjoyed reading it.

    As someone who doesn't have a submissive bone in her body, it's hard for me to connect to novels that involve BDSM. I just honestly don't understand the need to allow a person to have sexual control over you in that way. But if you like it, I love it and all that, it's just not my cup of tea ... but this novel ... this novel was all kinds of BDSM to the extreme and I loved it.

    I loved the writing; it was smooth with an even flow and no lagging or dragging of the storyline. I loved the characters. The story is told in Matthew's POV, so it's all raw man honesty. He's controlling, mean, dominant and abrasive but with Ella he was all those things topped with sweetness. I loved how his character stayed the same in personality even as he was falling in love with her. He was a dominant through and through and he taught Ella to be his perfect submissive while in the same sense teaching her to love herself and learning to love her as well. The author was able to create and sustain his characters personality through many complex stages. That's character development at its finest.

    What I enjoyed most about this novel was the actual story. Ella was running from a devastating past and she just happened to come across a devastating man that had to power to break her 10x worst. I loved reading about her journey to self discovery and self love. Below the surface of steamy and rough sex, raw dominance and sexuality, you get the story of a love so strong it seems wrong in all the right ways. Even with the honest look into a BDSM lifestyle, the evilness that lives in certain people and the kindness that lives in others, this novel is so much more. It teaches the reader much more.

    4 stars for a job well done. I can't wait to continue with the series.

    Matthew & Brandon (best friends since High School) own "The Onyx Club" a high class Burlesque club in a rough part of town. Ella walks in, looking like something the cat drug in, needing a job. Matthew knows she not dancer material yet he just can't seem to turn her away. Matthew senses she is in some type of trouble and the "Dom" in him just wants to protect and help her and of course, get her in his bed!

    The book is very Erotic and Sexually Explicit (Matthew and Brandon are both into the BDSM lifestyle), but Filthy Desire is so well written that the reader feels all of the characters emotions not just the sexual exploits. The joy, the pain, the fear and the love - it's all there. The reader will be drawn in from the start and taken on a wild and yet tender journey as Ella and Matthew's story is told. I give this book a very hearty 2 THUMBS UP!

    This is the first book by Author Sebastian Ex and I was excited to read due to the awesome feedback I was getting in different groups.
    I was so surprised how good it was and also well written as well.

    This is the story of Matthew aka Matt Weston and Ella. In the beginning Matthew was kind of a jerk to Ella, but once we truly got to them together, I could tell he had a heart of gold. Ella was woman who hasn't had it easy in her life, but was trying to make the best of her situation she was given. I loved the interaction between Matt and Ella that, I was laughing at times. Also Ella past situation was very difficult to hear about cause,I could relate to her situation. This was truly a fantastic read for me and I'll be rereading it again. If you looking for some drama, some really hot sex scenes and just a really good storyline this book is for you.

    I can't wait to see what Sebastian Ex has next. Sebastian is a new author and I'll be buying more books by him in the future. If your debating on if you should 1-click this book do it. I promise you'll love it as much as I did.

    Where do I start if I'm honest I didn't really know what to expect as this was Sebastian Ex first novel. This book blew me away! As a blogger I read a lot this was one of the hottest books I have read in a long time. From the first page I was drawn in and fell in love with the characters. The sex scenes are scorching hot between Mathew & Ella but there is so much more to this book than the sex the story grips you right from the beginning Mathew's arrogant alpha ways how he deals with situations with Ella are so well written they keep You turning the page.
    Mathew ( NOT... Mat he would kick you out of bed for calling him that!) is a arrogant cocky club owner and a true Dom! ( who by the way I'm now in love with and is my no 1 book boyfriend lol) falls in love with Ella a girl with a terrible past who is down on her luck when she applies for a job at Mathews club and he gives her a chance. I loved Ella to with her sass and taking no crap of Mathew this is their story how they overcome the ups and down and helps her get over of her past I could not put this book down and can not wait for more from this Author....

    BDSM, Doms and Subs, and one sided controlling is not really my thing, and by the time it came to this, I really wanted to know if it ended the way I suspected it would. So, I read it to the end.
    The title is misleading and does not do the caring relationship justice. I can see how the lifestyle saved Ella and how it was, ultimately, what she needed.
    The last few chapters confirmed most of my suspicions but the ending was totally unexpected.
