I dove right into this book after finishing the first in the series, Claim Me. While the first book dealt mostly with Kris's childhood trauma and drug/alcohol addiction, this one focuses more on Drew's eating disorder, as she has relapsed. It is truly heartbreaking to watch Drew struggle with this issue and refuse to acknowledge she does not have it "under control". In some ways, this book was darker than the first, namely because Kris and Drew are not together, so most of their scenes are solo or with Courtney, who is a bit of a go-between for them, being the only friend they have in common. Because of this, we get to know Courtney better, and we learn a couple of surprising things about her. As with the first book, the end of the book is not the end of the story, so I am looking forward to see how our characters fare in the next book of the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2021This is the 2nd book in this series. Drew is living with regrets and as a wedding photographer and keeps a smile on her face as others celebrate their wedding day. Kristopher is struggling to move on from Drew, and he is working as a handyman, while drinking himself into a stupor to help himself cope at nights. When fate destines them to have a 2nd chance can they commit to each other? This is a well written story which is and emotional roller coaster throughout, with twists, heartbreak, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an addictive story. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2022We continue the story of Drew and Kris pretty much right where we left of with the last one. Kris makes a promise to himself to change his ways and struggles to better himself. Drew spirals, and struggles with some very serious issues. Seeing both of them struggling apart was both frustrating and beautifully done. If you are like me, and are a hopeless romantic, you will constantly be screaming in this book! I appreciate the author painting such a hard and true picture of how sometimes in order to let love in, you have to face your demons on your own first.
We also get into Courtney’s head, which was definitely relatable to me. And Natalie! She may just be a new favorite of mine!
Going through their struggles with them was so heart wrenching, but beautiful and real. I’m invested and excited to see what’s next for these characters!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2021This is the 1st book I've read written by Angel Jendrick; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the 2nd book in the Claiming Kristopher Series. She has written a good second chance romance. Drew broke up with Kristopher; now she regrets her decision.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2022I first would like to recommend you read these books in order.
In book two we find both Kristopher and Drew are struggling to keep it together. Drews fighting her love towards Kristopher and shutting everyone out . While Kristopher is feeling guilty and really trying hard to keep his promise to hisself to better his life. This love affair is so messed up right now they both love each other but are trying to convince them selves they don’t . While doing that they both start struggling to keep their demons at bay. I found myself yelling at them to get over it and get back together.
The author does a great job in writing what these characters are going through so much so I found myself really getting invested in both of their lives and hoping they get back with each other. But will they ?
- Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2021Forgive Me is the 2nd book in the Claiming Kristopher series. Angel and Kristopher are both dealing with their breakup which leads to some questionable decisions for both of them. This book is emotional and had me all over the place. I can't wait until the third book to see more of these characters and how their story continues to unfold! This book is really compelling and will stick with you long after putting the book down. I can't wait to read more from Angel and these characters.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2021Forgive Me is the intense and emotional second installment to the Claiming Kristopher series. Both characters are floundering after the break up and make some very bad decisions. Will they be able to over come their demons and find happiness? This story is told in third person of which I am not a big fan, but the characters are complex and the story is engrossing and pulls the reader in. I am pulling for this couple and can’t wait to see how this story goes.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2021Forgive me is a powerful story that pulls you in and have you on and emotional rollercoaster as you connect with Kristopher and Angel. As they try to pull their lives together, you can feel the raw emotions coming off of these two. It is a story that you will think about long after you finish reading it.
