Colleen knew what she needed to do, what would be best for Teyler. She couldn’t hold him back and she knew he’d want to do the right thing and give up his future. She knew she had to push her feelings aside and put his future ahead of her wants and desires.

She shrugged, nonchalantly. She hated lying to him, but she knew it was for the best. Luckily, he was tired, so he wouldn’t be able to see the truth behind her eyes. “Of course. Call me when you get out of surgery. I’m going to miss you so much.”

“Colleen, I really like you,” he said through a yawn. “Promise me you’ll answer my call. Why am I getting this feeling that you’re going to blow me off?”

Colleen smiled and leaned over Teyler, planting a gentle kiss on his lips. She tried her best not to cry.

Teyler pulled back as his eyes started to close. “Colleen,” he said before sleep took him away from her, but Colleen would always have a special part of Teyler Walker.

“That’s my girl,” Teyler whispered into her ear then added, “Don’t ever let a guy treat you like that. You deserve respect and I’m going to teach these a**holes a little right now. I don’t usually say this, but I’m f***ing good. They don’t stand a chance.”

Colleen smiled and agreed with a nod. With Teyler next to her, she felt as if she could do anything because he made her feel like something. Something more than a chubby girl who used her body to gain male attention. “Okay. Good,” she said as thoughts of him showing Tommy up made her happy. “Just don’t get hurt.”

Teyler chuckled. “I got this, baby.”

Your Curves

Your curves are the only ones I want . . .

“I’m being honest when I say I think you’re beautiful. Don’t let those a**holes get into your head. You’re not a waif. So f***ing what? I hate girls that feel like they’re going to break when I touch them. I’d much rather feel a girl’s curves than her bones.”

Colleen shyly ventured a question. “Um, about how many curves and bones have you felt?”

Teyler laughed. “A true man never tells. And does it matter? I’m not with anyone but you right now and your curves are the only ones I want to feel.”

Kitty Berry grew up an only child who never wished for a sibling in a small town in Connecticut. After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education, she began teaching in the field and started to raise a family. Her literary influences happened later in life when she stumbled upon The Pilot’s Wife by Anita Shreve after seeing it featured on the Oprah Show. It was her late mother’s (whose name she uses as a pen name) desire of becoming a writer that prompted Kitty to create a contemporary romantic series.

Being a creative person by nature who came into writing during a time in her life when the busy balance of career and family made her crave an escape into the world of romance, Kitty took that desire and turned it into a romantic series that offers the reader multidimensional characters.

In 2013, she published her first novel from The Stone Series: Sliding. Since then she has written ten other novels in that series, among them Stoned, Second Chances, Surrender, Starting Over, and Silence. The final installment, Survivor was released in 2016. A holiday edition was released in late 2018.

Since then, Berry has released a trilogy titled, The Anatomy of Love and written a carry-over stand-alone novel, Vines of Ivy. In 2019, she released the Compatible Companions Trilogy.

Because angst-ridden, plot-driven, women’s contemporary romances mesmerize Kitty, Berry writes only in that genre. While each book in The Stone Series can stand alone with its own story, Berry’s intention was to create carry-over characters to satisfy the need of the reader to know more after each novel ends. As an avid reader herself, Kitty enjoys the feeling of being there with the characters inside the story and often finds herself wanting to know more about them, missing them when the story is over, and becoming excited all over again when she discovers those familiar characters in subsequent novels. It is her hope that The Stone Series will do the same for her readers.

Kitty is married to a man she met in graduate school and has three boys who are almost men.

Kitty recently founded RomantiConn (a romance author signing event held annually in CT) and is currently working on the Falls Village anthology hybrid with her fellow RomantiConn authors.

    From Then Until Forever is the third book in the amazing Falls Village series. This story centers on Colleen a single mother who is insecure about her looks, who grew up in Falls Village and runs the family tea and candy store. She let the only man she ever loved leave Falls Village years ago and kept a secret from him. He retires and returns but will he forgive Colleen and will they be able to have a relationship. Many of the delightful characters in the first two books in this series make another humorous and exciting appearance causing their usual shenanigans. This brilliant and fun story also has drama, heartbreak for one of our favorite characters, beautiful hot love scenes, and an intertwined story involving some of the town’s historical events. The author has outdone herself again. You cannot help but fall in love with this compelling and captivating story, the multi-layered characters, and this lovely seacoast location.

    The Falls Village is an amazing series being written by multi RomantiConn authors which gives the reader a chance to sample authors they may not have read and gives us more time to enjoy these delicious characters and storylines.

    Not many things can remain a secret in the small town of Falls Village, but Colleen has been keeping one for a very long time - the name of her daughter Taylor's father.  But things have a way of changing on a dime, especially when basketball great Teyler Walker retires from the game after a career ending injury and comes back to Falls Village.  Will he forgive Colleen for keeping the secret for so long?  Has the love they shared when they were teenagers ever really gone away?  With beautifully written characters and a highly emotional storyline this was another fabulous read from Kitty Berry.  The reader will fall in love and not want to leave.

    Beautiful story of a small town first love that triumphs over time. Colleen and Teyler connected in such a magical way when they were younger and due to circumstances found themselves going in different directions with their lives. Well life certainly has an interesting way of pulling those that are meant to me back together.

    This second chance love story had a huge secret, lots of heat, and heart. Fully engaging characters. Falls Village continues to be a destination that entertains.
