Spring has sprung in Coburg, Oregon...

A research team from a local university is studying the thirteen cadavers in various stages of decomposition throughout the body farm, and how the elements and unusual circumstances affect them. Six students, led by a teaching anthropologist, seem to spend as much time making whoopee on the grounds of what they fondly call the B-Farm, as they do recording data for their study.

Grace barely has time to write her report before a fresh grave is discovered inside the compound. There’s just one problem—it doesn’t contain a body donated for research.

A killer is on the loose...

As the body count rises, Grace struggles to find a common denominator connecting the women the killer has targeted. Little does she know, he’s also got his eye on her.

Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.

An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

    I'm an Ann Simas fan. This book is the third in a series set in Coburg OR. The story line expands on the first two Grace Gabbiano mysteries. Grace is a Police Sgt with Coburg Municipal Police. The characters are engaging and interesting to follow. The story reveals several murders with the victims found at various locations in Coburg. Watch Grace and her staff uncover details as they solve the crimes. It is also fun to watch Grace's family members, especially her Mom, as she encourages opportunities to place the handsome Police Chief (Grace's boss) with Grace. I love the details of the family members, and other law enforcement and medical personnel. Well worth reading, as are all of Ann's books. Enjoy!

    Another great Ann Simas book in the Gabbiano series. Coburg comes alive with multiple deaths centered around a body farm. This is a fast moving read with great depth to the characters. More sex than any other Simas book. The sexual tension between Sgt. Grace Gabbiano and Chief of Policy Aidan Cruz continues to rise. The value of family and friends is well displayed. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

    Just finished reading "Buried to Die" by Ann Simas. It's the third in the Grace Gabbiano murder series. The book is set in Coburg Oregon where Grace is a sergeant on the Coburg Police. It's a great read, as are the first two.

    This book blew me away!!! The series just gets better & better.
    After each book, I think Ann Simas can't top this one, and yet, she always does!
    I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Quilted to Die.
