Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.

An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

    The just released book, Framed to Die, is the seventh book in the Gabbiano series by the talented writer, Ann Simas. This series is about the Police Department in the town of Coburg, Oregon. The continuing characters are Grace Gabbiano, a Sergeant in the PD, PD Chief Aidan Cruz, and the entire Gabbiano family. The book starts off with a wellness check of a Coburg resident but turnsinto a mystery that implicates Sergeant Gabbiano's parents. It is a fascinating story with different twists and turns. The sexual tension between Sergeant Gabbiano and Chief Cruz continues to escalate and seems to be recognized by everyone in the Gabbiano family. A great read and highly recommended!

    I am so excited for this book!!! I have waited so patiently for this book! I have read every one in the series and most in her other series. I can tell I am going to love it and I have just started it!!!
