    This book had Feels! Emotional, romance, suspense and Love.

    Blake is a cop and doesn’t do relationships, he works long hours and never looks at a woman twice that is until he meets a bartender at his local bar he often stops at.
    Letitia is hard working never taking time for herself. She is basically raising her sisters child and never expected to meet someone like Blake, let alone fall for him. Blake was a distraction she could not afford.

    There’s a killer on the loose and the targets all seem to be bartenders that fit Tia’s description. Blonde, pretty and all working at bars.
    Blake soon develops feelings for Tia although he won’t commit to his feelings he won’t let her out of his sight especially when there’s a killer on the loose. To say their relationship is complicated is an understatement.
    This book sucked me in from the first page and I loved every minute of Blake and Tia’s story. Amazing read.

    Tia has given everything up for her sister. Her sister who I'd like to punch in the face. She's so ungrateful and takes advantage of Tia every single time that she can. She makes Tia feel like she owes her. Tia is such a giving soul and loves her sister's kids like they are her own and will do anything for them.

    Blake never wants to put anyone in the position to care for him and him not make it home. One meeting starts to change all of that though. The more that he learns about Tia, the more he begins to care and feel for her.

    There's a slow burn between these two that just gets hotter and hotter. What happens though then one of them tries to put their foot down? Will it be over for them? Will one of them get hurt because of it?

    I’ve only read a handful of books that have kept me up at night in anticipation of what was next. This book gripped me from the first chapter and I didn’t put it down until I finished.

    Not looking for anything more than one night, their lives become intertwined in the most heartbreaking circumstances. Unsuspecting twists keep you entertained and strong bonds are created and while others are broken.

    Blake and Tia are such a force together. The push and pull of their relationship and the hardships that fall upon them make you respect the positions they hold. I love the chemistry between the two and how amazingly written their intimacy was.

    Great read from a brand new author to me. Would recommend for those who love books based on men in uniform and the challenges that come with that world.

    Wow! Double wow! Loved it! Stayed up way late to read this one. Tia & Blake will have you so wrapped up that you won’t be able to put the book down. The chemistry between these two is so much that you hate seeing the book end.

    Great story that kept me engaged the whole time. Blake is a cop who has avoided relationships because of the danger of his job. Tia is a bartender acting as a second mom to her nieces and nephew. I like that the story involved a bit of mystery and suspense, and enough conflict to be interesting without getting too bogged down in drama.

    Suspense, drama and mystery are 3 words that describe this book!

    This was my first time reading a book by this author but it will definitely not be my last.

    Hooked right from the start I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. The characters had amazing chemistry and although there were moments when Blake made me crazy he really grew on me.

    I was dying to read this book from the moment I read the synopsis. Intrigued by the murder mystery it kept me guessing the entire time.
