    Another loveable and great read from BJ Harvey.

    I got hooked on reading BJ Harvey's books on my quest to educate myself on the amazing talent at an upcoming book event. I fell deeply, madly, addictively in love with her easy to read writing style. Her loveable, huggable, relatable characters in the world of The Bliss series (Box set - trust me if you have not bought it yet - do - you'll binge on it and love it), all the books in Game and Bliss Series can be read alone but are much better read in order.

    Once again a great read. I loved Cade and Abi's story - it was relatable, well written and had some common themes such as making relationships work. Without getting too deep, a great read - but alas, I now have a serious and addictive book hang over as we wait for Thomas' story (sorry - you have to read Game Saver to understand that piece of info) so back to the real world of university studies....

    Cade is looking for arm candy; Abi is looking for a FWB. The two had a one night stand moths prior and it turns out they are both a part of a group of shared friends. Cade proposes a fake relationship to get his parents off his back, and Abi is looking for a repeat of their explosive night together. But as you might expect, the two find that as they spend more time together feelings start to develop and things get messy.

    This is the first book I’ve read in the series and I had trouble really connecting with the characters. I love the fake relationship trope but this one fell a little bit short. There were multiple editorial errors and I started to skim through the sex scenes, I would have preferred more plot development and maybe some fade to black at some point.

    In all this was a hot read that I enjoyed. This is a standalone in a series and I would recommend that you read the first two books as it might help with the continuity of the series. The story is told in a first person POV from both character’s points of view. This is the first book I have read by this author but I will definitely check out others.

    Hands down one of my favorites after the Bliss series. I love the heroine Abi. She has a great sense of humor, a crazy sex drive and comes off as very down-to-earth. Cade's family drama was a little anti-climatic at the end but I loved the other parts enough to overlook the loose tie-up on the drama.

    I loved Cade and Abi's story. From the very first time they got together in Game Maker, I was hoping we would see more of them.
    They don't start out in a 'traditional' way, their relationship being more of an arrangement that is beneficial to them both in so many ways!
    Cade comes from a prominent family in society and Abi comes from a very close family. Her mother was hilarious, her brother's were typically protective. On the other hand, Cade's parents are your typical society snobs. Despite this, Cade and his siblings all have their heads screwed on and look out for each other.
    This series is brilliant because it is pure escapism at it's best. It is funny, swoon worthy, and has the power to give you sore cheeks as a result (get your mind out the gutter, I meant you will have a permanent grin on your face when reading!)
