About the authors
“I’m not going to inspire you to change anything, I'm simply going to give you a framework that allows everything to change.” - Jackie
There’s nothing like feeling overwhelmed. Overwhelm used to be Jackie's constant companion and her days felt long, heavy, and profitless, until Jackie learned overwhelm's purpose in life.
Overwhelm's purpose is to be an early warning that you're caught up in beliefs that could shut you down every time you think you're making progress.
Limiting beliefs act like inner saboteurs. They sit on your phone so you can't make sales calls, and they distract you so that you can't focus and finish projects. They trash your hard work and torpedo your relationships.
It was learning to tame her own inner saboteurs that took Jackie from struggling to make ends meet as a stress management consultant to being a sought-after author, speaker, and brain retrainer. Along the way, the “Total Success Mindset Training” system was born.
Jackie uses the Total Success Mindset Training system to help her clients permanently free themselves from overwhelm and frustration.
Get ready to grin, giggle and “GET IT” as Jackie's stories guide you through simple attitude shifts that produce consistent actions, better teams, happier relationships, and higher profits.

Denise is a TEDx speaker and conference keynote speaker.- https://www.GetADebtFreeDegree.com - She is an international best-selling author, Youtube, and Summit host. Her podcast ranks in four countries and she is the creator of Cracking the Code to Free College.
From a starving college student who “lifted” food from her college campus cafeteria to have meals for the weekend, to an empty-nesting mom who figured out how to get colleges to beg her kids to attend their school, Denise Thomas has seen both famine and fortune.
Having homeschooled her two children from kindergarten through high school, Denise wasn’t sure if colleges would have confidence in her ‘mommy transcript’ nor how her teens would pay for college. It was, for this reason, she created a high school to college strategy resulting in an application package that not only impressed admissions officers but had them begging for her teens to go to their school. Both attended 4-year universities on more than $199,000 in scholarships and came out with cash in hand. They got paid to go to college.
Denise has coached parents of other college-bound teens for more than 15 years, helping them help their children get paid to go to college. She is passionate about her work, which she conducts from Florida with her husband.
Denise is the founder of Cracking the Code to Free College for families with middle school and high school age kids, and the College Edition for college students to add additional free cash to that college kitty along with college internships and post graduate employment.

Katie Miller is a dedicated Mind-Body Healing and Trauma Resolution Guide who believes in the power of pausing, breathing, and recognizing the options that life presents. She understands that sometimes, we all need a metaphorical pause button to help us step back, assess our situation, and see the myriad of possibilities ahead. Drawing from a diverse set of healing modalities she has explored in her personal journey, Katie crafts individualized paths to wellness for her clients, recognizing that there is no singular "right way" to achieve healing and growth.
With a steadfast commitment to empowering others, Katie's primary mission is to help her clients find their purpose and take control of their "emotional remote control". She believes that by reprogramming our emotional responses, we can consciously trigger positive emotional states rather than falling prey to negative emotional triggers.
In addition to her work as a trauma resolution guide, Katie is deeply involved in suicide prevention efforts as the Assistant Director and Co-Founder of the Teen Suicide Prevention Society. Alongside her family, Katie strives to put suicide intervention programs out of business by equipping individuals with the skills and resources they need to overcome personal struggles and nurture a positive mental state. Combining her passion for individual healing with a broader mission for societal wellness, Katie is a beacon of hope and transformation in the lives of those she touches.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2021My passion is empowering children. We have to ensure that our children survive and have a chance to grow into the empowered souls they are capable of being. This book is a red flashing light that reminded me to stop assuming that the children will always be around and to do something that will ensure that they stay around. It taught me how to check on our children, protect our children, and encourage our children. What a gift in the battle against Teen Suicide!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2021I intend to read this book over again several times. It is something I believe everyone should refer back to for comfort, support, inspiration, encouragement and as a reminder that we ALL have gone through ups and downs throughout life, but it is how we get up that matters, no matter how many times we may fail or fall short. Great read!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021With so many ideas for mind-body health and awareness, this book is a must-read for people who are looking for guidance and support. It is a great resource for anyone who needs reminders that the world offers many opportunities for taking one's power back over their outlook on life, and ultimately their own healing.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021This book is full of uplifting, impactful, sometimes heavy, sometimes funny, but always inspiring stories about how people chose to "Make It A Great Day." It's a quick read and definitely empowers you to believe that there are no throwaway days. All days, all people and all situations have value.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021Designed "to be a companion on the road to developing emotional resilience," the book presents interesting, instructive and inspiring pieces that help to choose to make it a great day. Reading the chapters was an emotionally, uplifting experience.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021This book is a critical step in reaching our youth before they reach the point of contemplating suicide. I was 24 when I contemplated suicide as a solution to get out of a terrible marriage. It took me years of study and therapy to learn the kinds of skills this book shares. I love that there are so many different methods and techniques taught, because some get better results than others depending on the individual. If ever there was a book a family needs to read together, IT'S THIS ONE!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021This book is so relevant for what's happening in the world today. Everyone, at whatever age, will relate to these real stories where someone is faced with a challenge. Life is full of setbacks, challenges, and hardships. It takes inner strength to handle whatever life throws at you. The good news is that you build more resilience as a result of the challenges you face and the way you overcome them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you for bring more awareness to this topic! A must read!
As someone who had attempted suicide in my past and then found myself falling into a life of addiction as a result of how I felt, this is a book that really resonated with me. It's about time we starting to bring more awareness to topic and this book does just that! My suicide attempts always filled me with so much shame because it was a topic not many people wanted to talk about. I feel that it's so important to start talk about the things that so many of us feel or have experiences but afraid to share. Thank you for this amazing read!
