Gregor Stone is a full-blood Gargoyle and the Warden at the New Atlanta Penitentiary. He spends his days running the prison and his nights looking for Unholy. With the recent discovery that Gargoyles can mate with humans, there is new hope for his kind. Gregor has found his mate, but there’s one problem: she hates him. He believes his happily ever after is still just a fairy tale.

Tessa Blackmore is Trouble with a capital T and has been since she was a baby. Tessa is a half-blood. Her father is a Gargoyle and her mother is human. The half-bloods have hidden themselves from the Gargoyles for centuries. Now that Tessa has found her mate in a full-blood, will she continue to hide, or will she give in to the pull of the mate bond? Tessa is running from her past and the madman hell bent on catching her. As he and his army close in, Tessa is forced to turn to the one man she has tried to avoid for years: her mate.

This book is about a Hot Alpha Gargoyle shapeshifter and his feisty redheaded mate. Warning: The story is full of action, F-bombs, and HOT, descriptive sex.

About the Author

Faith Gibson is a multi-genre author who lives outside Nashville, Tennessee with the love of her life, and her four-legged best friends. She strongly believes that love is love, and there's not enough love in the world.
She began writing in high school and over the years, penned many stories and poems. When her dreams continued to get crazier than the one before, she decided to keep a dream journal. Many of these night-time escapades have led to a line, a chapter, and even a complete story. You won't find her books in only one genre, but they will all have one thing in common: a happy ending.
When asked what her purpose in life is, she will say to entertain the masses. Even if it's one person at a time. When Faith isn't hard at work on her next story, she can be found playing with her pup, reading, or listening to music, preferably live.

Gregor is a complex story, rich in intrigue and plot twists. It builds on book 1, Rafael, but can be read standalone if needed without losing too much of the complicated and unique backstory. Sparks fly when feisty Tessa and Gregor get together. The depth of these characters is refreshing, and their story unfolds beautifully. A note about “Gregor”: in this book, readers will find a few intensely dark sections dedicated to a pervy serial killer. These are brief and can be skipped over if you’re squeamish. However, these sections are integral to understanding why Tessa refuses Gregor for so long. This book is definitely for the 18+ crowd, as Gregor and Tessa are sizzling hot in the bedroom (their proclivities run a bit darker than Rafael’s) - even as they fight like cats and dogs (she shot him- twice!). A note on the Audible version: my brain had a hard time with the multiple accents in this book. Our narrator has great inflection and fantastic performance range, but the multiple accents were just a bit too much for me. I still gave Mr. Finn a 4 star rating though.

"Gregor" is the second in paranormal romance series called "Stone Society." Though the book is a continuation of the gargoyle shifter storyline, this book can be read as a stand alone. The writing is crisp. The story sucks you in, making it hard to take breaks while reading it. The novel is intricate and the characters are believable in how the react to their circumstances. I enjoyed this book and the series thus far, and recommend to thos who love gargoyles, the paranormal or just plain ole' love story with great obstacles to over come.

We're introduced to Tessa and Gregor in the first book. Tessa's job for the family is a watcher. She's to watch all the half-blood's and make sure they are safe. If they are going to transition she is to be there for them and fill them in on the family secret. By per accident a few years back she let her rear end be introduced to Gregor's front at a gas station. Immediately she knew who he was to her and she did her best to make sure they never crossed paths again.

In the detailed web that was weaved in the first book, Rafael, this continues the search for Jonas and any further information regarding the mating bond. There's also a killer on the loose that soon proves he's after one person. A certain female with red hair and green eyes. Tessa. She must keep hidden from the man who believes he's her father all while continuing her job as a watcher and staying away from Gregor Stone. However, once Gregor sees that mating with a human can be done, he refuses to let Tessa push him aside any further. Especially after seeing one of the corpses. Can Gregor and Tessa make it work or will it be too risky? The bond is strong; is Tessa's will stronger?

Anger, defeat, sadness, joy, and overwhelming defeat just to be thrown into an abyss of happiness is what you'll feel while reading this book. Excellent story and wonderful series.

Let me count the ways I love Gregor and this Gargoyle series. Gargoyles are my absolute favorite type of paranormal creature. Faith Gibson does not disappoint in this second book. We learn even more about the shifter society and their role as Protectors in New Atlanta. I loved the interactions between Tessa and Gregor but my heart went out to him. She is a total badass and he is the warden of the prison. What a difficult job! The responsibility and the toll on Gregor for that duty. Tessa was also not an easy true mate. At first I wondered if they would work out. And, he is just so deserving! Yes, I liked Gregor better than the heroine, sorry. There is just something about him. The world building was fantastic as well as the character development. We keep learning more about the other brothers and assorted secondary characters. The pacing was terrific and the side stories give us extra information with the hope for more adventures in this world. Exceptionally written, very well done! Highly recommended!

Gregor is the brother that works in the Pen or Prison as the head person in charge; Tessa is a wild child that moves around a lot & has many different aliases because she watches over her cousins that are 1/2 blooded gargoyles to help them if need be thru their transition.

Tessa is really Andrea Flanagan, the daughter of the evil bad Flanagan who created the Unholy creatures that Gregor & his Clan go after in order to protect everyone else. This piece of information comes out in this book along with a few others.

Tessa has known for quite some time that Gregor is her mate because it caused her to go thru her transition. The 1/2 blooded gargoyles go thru their transitions when they meet their mate whereas the full blooded ones like Gregor, his brothers & cousins go thru it around puberty. & there aren't many women gargoyles. Gregor & his Clan not only find out that gargoyles & their human mates can have children but that also puts a standstill on their human mate's aging; they find out that their uncle Alistair is against gargoyle & human matings & that might cause a war between them. But, Gregor's brother, Rafael who is also their King doesn't care as his mate Kaya is human & welcomes the 1/2 blooded into the Clan.

In this book there is someone going around & killing other women who look like Tessa & they do finally catch him; I believe that I know who Vincent Alexander truly is (Gabriel, a relative of Isabelle's & Tessa's but because he's been tortured by scientists hired by Flanagan & then left for dead).

This book was very good & so far this series is off to a good start; I definitely will be reading the next book in this series.

I loved this book, Gregor and Tessa had me laughing so many times. Tessa is such a spitfire and so sassy, I love her spirit and her never give up attitude. There is so much of this book that makes me go "yes! That is so something I would do".
Awesome book, nothing missing and even with it being the second book of the series, you could read it as a stand alone and still understand everything that is going on, I love it when a author does that, links the books but not so much that you need note cards to keep track of what happened in that previous books.

This is book 2 in the Stone Society series and I can't wait to move on to book 3. Yes, the way the bond happens is instant, but that doesn't mean the people are all over each other. Instead there are problems, doubts, a slow burn. And don't forget the action and suspense. I found a new love in this series.

I wasn't sure I would like this book, being I'd just finished "Rafael," the first book in the series . This book is just as good story-wise. Different male hero and his mate, struggling to make their mating bond work.
