    This is a familiar trope but the author has made it more by introducing three dimensional characters with interesting back stories and adding twists and secondary characters who are interesting.

    As the story progresses we learn more about the things Parker and Callum have overcome to become the people they are. They have a choice to remain as they are or become someone with a full life to live. I throughly enjoyed reading this and encourage you to try it.

    I loved this Christmas story. Callum arrives in Holley Ridge to buy Parker’s ranch, but Parker is not interested in selling.     What a great story, it had everything you would want for a small town romance in a Christmas setting. Makes your heart all warm and fuzzy.

    Parker Holley was the very proud owner of Holly Ridge, a business her parents had built up from scratch. When she lost her parents she decided to invest her inheritance back in the business to realise her parents wishes. The problem was the pandemic hit just at the wrong time and just about wiped her business out.

    Callum Reed was offering Parker a lifeline, sell him the ranch to redevelop, and Parker would walk away with an amount of money after her debts were paid off. The alternative was that the bank foreclose and she loses everything. However Parker was not going down without one last Christmas at Hollet Ridge and the hope of a miracle.

    Some good twists in the story that make you wonder if either Parker or Callum would win this one, with a great read to take you on that journey. Love Grandma Estelle!!

    It was obvious how it would go, but I still enjoyed it, my only complaint is the use of the word c..t, I hate that word, I can't even say it in my head when reading, crazy I know, but will read any more stories to come by this author.
