    I really enjoyed the story but the writing there me off even for a short book it was very rushed to the point where things didn't make sense and it was filled with fluff in the form of the main character describing scenes we had already read to another person in detail. The frequency of switching point of views between characters was very frustrating .

A chemistry develops between Megan, the young assistant and Deborah Stewart, the headmistress. The story has excellent character development and the scenes between the women are steamy. The only fault in the book would be there aren't enough of them! Emily Hayes delivers a hot erotic novella.

But the opposites attract love story was a fun part of the story, Megan and Deborah's pull to one another is genuinely heartfelt and the mixed feelings to a relationship is on full display. All the heartache and confusion, along the tenderness and sweet moment. The story captures the rocky upstart to falling in love and the pain is causes, but the ending is a sweet note to end on.

    Das ist wahrscheinlich das erste Buch das ich mit nur einem einzigen Stern bewertet habe. Was selbst mich überrascht. Aber bei so vielen Baustellen kann ich es nicht so stehen lassen.

    Es begann schon gleich zu Beginn damit, dass die Erzählerperspektive mich verwirrte, weil nicht immer gut genug erkenntlich gemacht wurde, welche der beiden Protagonisten mit "she"/"her" denn gemeint war. Das ließe sich mit Absätzen perfekt regeln, aber dem war leider nicht so. Naja gut kann passieren, dachte ich mir. Bis ich gemerkt habe wie unglaublich klieschebehaftet dieses Buch doch ist. Das muss zwangsweise natürlich nicht unbedingt schlecht sein, wenn es gut verpackt ist. Jedoch führte es hier dazu, dass es viel zu vorhersehbar wurde. Man konnte sich gefühlt immer denken, was ungefähr als nächstes passiert. Und einige Male waren dann manche Handlungsstränge viel zu kurz geraten. Selbst das Ende war so "randomly rushed", dass ich mir nicht einmal mehr die letzten paar Seiten durchgelesen habe.

    Idk, wie man unschwer erkennen kann, war ich kein Fan von diesem Buch. Wünsche der Autorin dennoch das beste und hoffe einfach, dass ich hier nur eine Einzelmeinung vertrete und es anderen stattdessen gefällt.
