4.4 stars This is the first book I have read by the author and it will not be the last. We all want what we are told not to do and that is the case when Sabine decides to go to Club Toxic where her ex told her to stay away from. As a submissive, Sabina is looking for a little fun but her first attempt is not what she expected. Fortunately, she is saved by Maximus and from there it seems as if neither one can forget the other. However, as with many relationships, things do not run smoothly and when it seems as if Zeke wants to reclaim what was once his, the stuff really hits the fan. This is one well written, steamy read with a bit on insta-love thrown into the mix. Maximus and Sabina really do make an equally matched pair as he is a Dom and she is the consummate submissive. This is another welcome addition to the Midnight Doms series and I look forward to reading more. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

    I love that the Midnight Doms are stand-alone books in a bigger collection. This book fits perfectly and keeps the vibe of Club Toxic alive. I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and the way they just fit together. Sabina was so very head strong and at times it seemed like she was going to miss her opportunity at a fantastic future because of that. But Maximus was there when she needed him, more than once. This author really turned up the heat in this story and I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next and what is in store for the rest of the Doms at Club Toxic.
