I was hooked from page one on the main characters with the enthralling storyline about young Izzy who will be taking her nursing exam shortly and Grayson, and investment banker. It is filled withThey meet at a Charity Bachelor Auction that her dear friends talk her into attending, where he is the last bachelor up for bid. Unbeknownst to her, her friends have secretly bid on and won the handsome bachelor who is hell bent on avoiding a love connection, and staying single his whole life to avoid the disastrous life his parents subjected him to. While dear sweet, Izzy has lead a charming life with loving parents, and an adorable younger sister, Izzy has goals set for herself and plans to remain unattached so she can devote her career to work in order to help pay for her younger sister's college education since family funds are scarce since her dad's accident a few years ago has left him in wheelchair. The character development is stellar for Izzy and Grayson and their zany group of friends and family. It doesn't take long for Izzy to have Grayson letting the walls fall that he's built around himself as she cares for him like no other in his entire life, and he protects her and helps her with every difficulty she has to face. They encounter more than one surprise together with strength as Grayson learns he is nothing like his parents who left him to live in a boy's home more than 20 years ago.     The book needs an editor. After the first several irritating chapters where the point of view switches to repeat scenes, the style changes to a more acceptable form. Then the author writes a good story, well paced with interesting characters. However, the reading pace is spoiled for anyone who thinks in standard English. There are so many grammar errors involving the use of a subject pronoun where an object pronoun belongs, it can't just be typos. There are also many times when the wrong form of a verb is used. An editor whould have corrected the grammar and nixed those repeated scenes, but also could have fixed the awkward wording. Three examples are, "I him feel tense...." "He can't the tear..." and "She follows shortly me..."
    The story would rate a four stars but with all the errors, it is a scant 3 stars.
