About the author

An avid reader from a young age, Craig Thomas Boyle spent his younger years in the lands of Tolkien, Rowling, Stroud and many more. He graduated to grimmer fiction in his teens and has since developed an obsession for reading and writing about the darker side of life.
Craig is an avid Mixed Martial Arts competitor as well as a writer, and his success in the cage gives him the determination an author needs.
His debut Novella, The Hitman and the Rose was released to positive reviews and quickly hit #1 in Amazon US's Noir section.

The plot is fairly straightforward, a rich hit man that encounters something so sick that makes his cold blood boil. I sat through and read this obsessively. I hope it's turned into a larger novel, because I'm dying to have more background, more description, more everything.

When I saw that this story is avaliable on Amazon I had to buy it to hopefully help encourage C.T. Boyle to continue creating great reads.
Using just over 50 pages Boyle creates charcters that we feel for and identify with. Daniel; the lead character, doesn't just shake his head at and scoff at injustice he seeks out and eradicates it.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2014Format: KindleAn enjoyable book full of tension and drama. The writing is first rate and the author definitely knows how to spin a good tale! Looking forward to more from him.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2014Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI was cruising through reddit.com and found the link to this book on the front page. I read the first chapter and was completely enamored by this novella. I downloaded and read everything on my lunch break and was not disappointed. This novella was a truly wild and emotional ride. Craig Thomas Boyle brings his characters to life in the most simple of ways. By time I was done with the second chapter I was already emotionally attached to the Hitman and his struggles.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story. The Hitman and The Rose has quickly become one of my favorite short stories and I can't wait to see what Craig Thomas Boyle has in store for us in the future. Mr. Boyle, I'll be on the lookout for any new reddit posts or novellas/books you have in the works. Keep writing and we'll keep reading.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2017Format: KindleVerified PurchaseShort, like Melissa's height.
Simple, unlike Melissa's situation, predicament, childhood.
Sweet, like the Hitman and his symbol for innocence.
A great read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2014Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI saw the first part on writing prompts and saw the post later on saying how it became a novella. It was much more than I expected and a great read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2014Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis started out strong after a wonderful writing prompt on reddit. Unfortunately, the story plays out like a juvenile revenge fantasy. The writing is very rough, and the text is littered with typos. It is not too long though and the story kept me interested despite its flaws.
