    This book totally surprised me, and I loved every single second of it. It’s a pretty standard ashed on the snowy roads stranger, picks me up and takes me home. Forced proximity fall in love storyline, but this one was so much better than I’ve read lately.

    It was so sweet and so so steamy… It will keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

    I am going to look for more books by this author, and I can’t wait!

This story is set in a small town and has an age gap, Vince is 20 years older then Kota. Vince has a big secret that he keeps from young Kota. Kota comes to town to help his grandmother Mary Joy. Insta love but with drama, fights and great interference from Mary Joy. HEA

    I first heard about this couple when reading The Heart of St. Nick by the same author, and I was so captured by how they described this novel that I just absolutely had to read it, and I definitely wasn’t like down I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a short and sweet book to read this holiday season.

    This was a weet Christmas story that I thought could have been shorter. There were a ton of sex scenes with a few paragraphs of the actual story in-between the scenes. It has Christmas magic and Kota and Vince meeting as soul mates. A cute grandma and an HEA. The trouble was I wound up skipping most of the story as I read a ton and I look for the story, not the sex scenes. A cute book otherwise.

    Graphic artist, Dakota, 24, lost everything in the span of a month, his job, his home and his boyfriend. He’s in Holly Springs at the urging of his grandmother to come help out over Christmas at her BnB. She might have stretched the truth a bit about needing help and being in failing health, but she’s meddling for the best of reasons and just giving Christmas Magic a little boost.

    Former Art Critic turned part-time art teacher and handyman, Vince Carter, came to Holly Springs for a brief respite and just never left. Although he doesn’t believe in Christmas magic, he does know the little town and the owner of the BnB where he works and lives has a hold on his heart.

    A snowstorm and a full BnB lead to Kota and Vince sharing the guesthouse Vince has been living in. And a missing guest room bed and living room sofa make for some pretty hot forced proximity.

    All the “unplanned” circumstances make room for some very real Christmas magic and a very romantic holiday story.

    I want to start my review by saying that I really enjoyed this book.

    Dakota 'Kota' Scott is visiting his Grandmother at her B&B in the town of Holly Hills, a Christmas town.

    Alan 'Vince' Vincent is one of the locals, who does not like Christmas, he is known as the local Xmas Grinch. He lives in the guest house of the B&B. As the B&B is full, Kota has to share the guest house with Vince. While Kota is there, he makes it his mission to show Vince what Christmas joy really is.

    Kota is a Graphic Designer who came to help out his Grandmother, as per her dying wish. Although that was a little fib on his Grandmother's part. As unbeknownst to Kota, his Grandmother is playing matchmaker between him and Vince.

    Kota is 24 years old and Vince is 44. Vince feels that it would never work between them as he is so much older than Kota. But, they both agree to have a holiday fling until Kota leaves or one of them call it quits.

    A dying Christmas cactus plays a big part in the story as it comes back to life with nothing but love and a little Christmas magic.

    There are some secrets that the main characters both hold that start to unravel throughout the story.

    It is a very picturesque, snowy and lighthearted Christmas story. I read it in a couple of hours and really enjoyed it.

    I voluntarily read an ARC copy of this book.

    As I always say age means nothing and a 20 year age gap meant nothing to these 2 guys.
    Holly Hills sounds a lovely place to be, and with a lovely grandma like this makes things perfect.
