I specifically enjoyed the book because it presented a most interesting and intrigued explanation of the impacts the World War II had on society and the individuals who lived during the time. The author successfully reached a level where the reader became part of a world surrounded by intrigue, war and persons who needed to make difficult decisions aligned with their ideologies and political viewpoints. The story became embedded in the experiences of Nazism and people who wanted to make a change by following their beliefs. The author allowed the reader to form part of a complex wartime event and gain an in-depth understanding of the emotions people experienced and the fear they faced because of the dogmas followed during the war times. The description of the characters allows the readers to grasp the social-political complexities and the impacts on their daily lives. I believe this book presents a magnificent inside story into the soldier's experiences and the realities that formed part of their existence.

A work of fiction loosely based on an historical happenings an attempted asasination of Hitler in the later days of WW2. I liked the ending. I probably wouldn't recommend this.

Excellent story giving an insight into things in war not always made public. Written in a simple, flowing and descriptive manner. Finish was what I would have wanted, as an old romantic.
