Call of Hywilkin: Keepers of the Wellsprings, Book 4
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
A fallen prince, vanished. A ransom on His Majesty’s Elite demanded by shaky allies. A kingdom teetering on the brink of darkness.
Azi and Rian find themselves on an urgent quest to Hywilkin, a harsh land of ice and snow reigned by heartless men with no trust in kindness or beauty, and a cruel intolerance for magic of any kind.
Lurking in the far corners of the world, the Sorcerers of Dusk threaten their quest, weaving darkness into their hearts and minds. In Brindelier, they lure Tib into their dangerous plots as he investigates the conspiring shadows of the city.
The Champions of Light must prevail, or Brindelier’s All-Source and all of the Known Lands will fall forever into the grips of sorcery.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2017Would you do anything for love? Celli would. She will do ANYTHING for Quenson, the Sorcerer who holds her in thrall. Tib would, too. He will do anything to keep Princess Margy safe and ensure his sister Ki's freedom. It's a race to achieve dominion over Brindelier. The Dawn has placed three offerings from different Wellsprings, but they need all six. The Dusk currently has one, but will stop at nothing to win Brindelier themselves.
In Call of Hywilkin, you will see more of how the elves live and think. You will also see how the magic-despising men of Hywilkin live and think and how that affects other Hywilkin denizens. There are other magical creatures--enough to entice, but will leave you wanting more. You'll meet a couple more Muses. All your favorite characters (Azi, Flitt, Rian, and the rest of the Elite) are here, having harrowing new adventures. There are awesome new characters you'll want to see more. You will find you have even more questions about what's going to happen in the next book. And if you thought the illustrations in Brindelier were awesome, wait til you see the ones in Hywilkin! I was entranced by the one of Uncle Gaethon (that ring!) and it's just the first main illustration.
I read this book through once and then I just skimmed through it again, and I loved it even more. There were parts that were touching the first go-through, but I was hurrying through to find out what happened next. But this time, I found some of those parts again, and they were really poignant. Especially with Tib and Margy. So even if you've read it once, I recommend reading it again. You'll thank me later.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2017I am still awestruck by these books. I have read four and need to get the fifth. When will it be released. The fantasy is keeping me up at night because I can't put it down. The illustrations, magic and characters are great.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2017This series starts out strong and sweet; and as is rarely the case, just keeps on getting better.
It holds on to innocence and hope without feeling forced. It's a very sweet read.
