Great Story
Once again the author has brought us a wonderful story.
I really liked Alexei. He was a former Russian hitman but he had morals. He also had a good heart. I found it interesting that a man who had done so many bad things to come out with a heart that was not hard as stone.
I found Daisy shy and very sweet. She was an innocent country girl. She was one that also had more trouble then she could handle. I felt really sorry for her. She was so alone. Her father was dead and it seemed she had no other family around. I guess the towns folks were her family but it was sad she felt she could not turn to them. Here she was finding herself in danger and no one to turn to. I did wonder what would of happen if she would of told someone of what she was going through. Time and time again I saw in this story that this small town truly cared for her. So I did have to wonder if they would of turned a blind eye or if they would of stepped in. I guess it was a good thing that Alexei took notice.
I love the passion that was between these two. Alexei was helping Daisy come out of her shell. He was helping her shed some of her innocence and become a very strong woman. I love how Daisy was able to look pass all of Alexei flaws and see the man he truly was.
It was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
Great characters
Love the characters in this story! It's not as exhilarating as the rest of the series but still a good addition to it.
I Hired A Hitman
A well written storyline with fantastic characters. Retired hitman, a small town girl and a jerk. Alexei and Daisy are different but they are so great together. This is an intriguing storyline that will keep you turning the pages. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
