    Since Jason Reynolds is the best friend of Truly Goodman’s brother, they have agreed that the one time spent making unforgettable sexual memories will never be repeated. But it does not keep him from bringing up reminders of what happened between them, and her replies often recall equally heated moments. When Jason needs a date for an upcoming wedding where he is a hired groomsman, he thinks asking Truly is a great solution. But this just adds fuel to their simmering lust, making it extremely difficult to remain just friends.

    I started smiling at the very beginning of the second book in the Always Satisfied series, and the reading enjoyment that I received continued to grow as I watched Jason and Truly experience one relationship issue after another. What this couple goes through is often highly emotional, and any incidents which cause distress come across so clearly and repeatedly moved me. Countless situations they face are also sprinkled with witty circumstances, and I grinned so many times and even chuckled out loud more than once. Discussions with friends are constantly amusing, too, and caused more laughs. Numerous comments made by Jason and Truly are suggestive, while other remarks are fond recollections and keep them from ever forgetting that fateful evening.

    INSTANT GRATIFICATION is imaginative, emotional, and always entertaining. Lauren Blakely makes her characters so realistic, and the developments in their lives are particularly true-to-life. I always felt as though Jason and Truly could actually exist, and the events which arose throughout the story are so plausible. A couple trying to deny they share more than friendship is one of my favorite romantic themes, as I like to see how each will react to new and often unexpected situations. Jason is delightfully charming, and picturing him speaking with his British accent made this man doubly appealing. I really liked Truly and how she was independent plus spirited. It was so nice to reconnect with lots of past characters, but this book easily stands alone.

    This book gets 3.75 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars.

    This book features a mostly likable couple, and they have some hot scenes. It did seem, especially at first, like they were more in lust than in love. They were both just too concerned about their work to allow themselves time for love. They did both realize later that it was a mistake to let work control their lives, and I finally started believing they were in love then.

    I liked them, but I thought they should have talked to her brother a lot sooner -- their angst over hiding their relationship from him was just unnecessary. I did like that they were both so lighthearted and open to having "fun" together, and they were often really funny.

    My rating system is below.
    1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
    2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
    3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
    4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
    5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

    After reading about Malone and Sloane in book one, I couldn't wait for Truly and Jason's story!! After all, Truly is Malone's twin sister and Jason is his best friend, that right there spells fun and drama!!
    We meet both characters in the first book and even then, their chemistry were flying off the pages! And in this book their chemistry literally made the book almost too hot to handle at times!!
    Loved Truly!! She was smart, motivated, an independent business owner, funny, sweet, loyal, etc!! The whole package, as you were. She's the kind of girl I would love to be friends with and hang out. The only thing missing from her life is a love interest. But, she thinks she doesn't have time for that.
    Jason is amazing!!! He's British, enough said there right!! He's smart, funny, a gentleman, an entrepreneur, handsome, loyal, and sexy as hell!! He's been pining after Truly for as long as he's known her, but she's his best friends sister. That means off limits.
    The book revolves around the fact that 6 months prior, Truly and Jason "fell" into bed together during a ski weekend and it turned out to be the best sex of their lives!! Then they decided it can't happen again and went back into the "friend zone". This zone really doesn't work for them, but they do try hard to stay there.
    Loved the banter between the 2 main characters, they were very entertaining! Loved visiting with characters from other books that I've loved, that was special for me!! Just loved this book completely, like I do every Lauren Blakely book!!!

    I’m a massive fan of this author’s work and I’ve read many of her books . I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to reading this one . Our main character Jason has a very unusual job he’s as a much sort after Best -man for hire , when he needs a fake date he turns to Truly who is the very witty and sister of his best friend . Truly has helped him out before and they did share an intimate moment , but now they are falling for one another . Is there a HEA on the horizon for this couple ? I’m not saying you’ll have to read the book 😉
