    I really enjoyed this book. Jacky is a strong werecat, but she’s not the strongest. She’s not the best and knows when to rely on others. If you are looking for a sexy, romantic PNR this is not for you. If you’re looking for action and simmering steam this is it.

    Its my second time reading through these books, and I still love them! I think its safe to say this is one of my favorite book series now along with the Mercy Thompson series of books by Patricia Briggs. These are kind of similar, and yet very different. If you like this series, I think you will like those as well.

    Found this set from an author I hadn't heard of before while sifting through books on sale and decided to read the "Look Inside" bit. I read all of that and couldn't stop, so I decided to buy it. I love this series! The werecats were a different concept than I've seen before. All three books were interesting while introducing us to this particular fantasy world. I just purchased book 4 and luckily it looks like book 5 is very close to being released. According to the blurb at the end of this set, the author has planned at least 4 more books of Jacky beyond that, and, from my brief perusal of the Amazon author page, there are sets following other characters in this same world. When I find a world I enjoy, like this one, I like to see lots of books, so I've found another new author to follow.

    I am not usually super into Weres, Vampires, and such, preferring other types of Fantasy and Steampunk, but this series grabbed me and sucked me in completely.
    The characters, especially loner Werecat, Jacky, are lovable and quirky and the plot of the series and each individual book I've read so far are fantastic, believable (as much as one believes in paranormal beings) and just plain fun to read.

    I found this series a few weeks ago and couldn't out if down. I just had to know what happened next. I'm not a big fan of the formal mother/father etiquette, but I do understand why is there.

    I love the dynamics of Carey and Jacky, I can't give you a favourite character, as I love them all in their own ways.

    I've since found other books and series by this other and love them just the same. Next up is a full re-read of books 4 to 7 before moving on to Bounty
