    Jemma is an entertainment blogger. It's her one and only job to support her and her little brother. She has a chance to boost her blog by interviewing realty tv star Daniel Stark. Add in Daniel's crazy ex lover, another blogger trying to sabotage her reputation and a hot rocker who is interested in Jemma. Daniel is stuck in the middle of all this chaos. What will happen to Jemma? This series was hot, steamy to listen to. I enjoyed all 5 books.
    Laurie West narration was very good. She is a new narrator for me. She is a pleasure to listen to. She does an amazing job portraying the characters, giving each their own voice and personality. I was gifted the audio and offered my honest review

    Jemma 2: Entertainment with Jem, Book 2 by Clarissa Carlyle
    I can say that I am totally hooked on this series
    . I first recommend you read the first book before reading this one.
    What I love about this series is how Jemma loves her little brother and determined to take care of him. More on that in the next book.
    This book deals with her and the backlash she gets from another blogger and from Daniel’s ex who he is still in a contract with to do a reality show. I really love how the author wrote the story, I am drawn into the drama and wanting everything to go right. I love the characters and how they interact with each other and her little brother sounds so cute.

    I am ready to read book three.

    This is a good contemporary romance, it is not a stand alone. Jemma is a young woman who lost her parents but gave up college so she could raise her 2 year old brother. She works waiting tables and blogs on the side. She needs more money to care for him so she plans an interview with Daniel who is a reality show star. She cares a lot for him but she seems to be the only one who is making any effort towards a relationship. Daniel is conflicted & cares for Jemma but is also in a contract for a 2nd reality show with his previous girlfriend. Jemma's life is being trashed because of her relationship with Daniel. The section of the book contained here is good BUT there is a reason I normally do NOT read books that aren't stand alones. I try to wait until the entire story is out. I love to read. As much as I liked both the beginning and middle of this story I do not like the segment/part format. I was given a free copy of this segment of the book for an honest review. As I said the story line is good and the story is progressing but what is Jemma going to end up losing because of Daniel? Is he worth it and does he really care about her or the publicity? I've read several of Ms. Carlyle's books including Emma and have enjoyed them.

    Jemma's world is turned upside down, back around, and upside down some more - with some shakes for good measure. Having enjoyed the Managed series ahead of this one (I know it was backwards), it's nice to see some of those characters in this series. I am looking forward to seeing where things go with Daniel and how Ali and Lexi get put in their places. Onto part 3!!

    btw - I still like the narrator, in case you were wondering. 😉

    I love this series, can't wait to read book 2. Poor Jemma, she goes through more than any one person should have too. The scenes are so vivid it is like being a fly on the wall.

    I love Jemma in this series as she is such a down to earth person and only cares about helping out her brother. However now that she is currently involved with Daniel Stark not everything is going to be easy for her as now she is trying to make sure that her brother doesn't exactly read any of the things that are being posted on the internet about her. Ever since Ali has started this war with Jemma it doesn't exactly look good but then it doesn't exactly look bad either as even though Ali isn't the nicest person out there, she has helped improve the ratings for Jemma's site.

    However even though both Daniel and Jemma agreed to do this all quietly and keep it to themselves until after the reality show, they both can't seem to keep their hands off each other but whilst that's all going good for them Lexi seems to think that she can manipulate Daniel and also attempt to ruin Jemma's life. Jemma has tried her hardest to be calm about all of this as she doesn't want to do anything that could cause her to lose her brother for good.
    I honestly am starting to not like Lexi or Ali but as much as I can't stand them they really do help bring Jemma out of her comfort zone even though it is wrong the way they are doing it. I truly respect Jemma and honestly wish that her and Daniel could be together as Jemma has already gone through so much.

    I honestly recommend you to read this book, but make sure that you read the first book in the series as otherwise it won't make much sense to you. Clarissa Carlyle you have outdone yourself again, you have written such an amazing story and it really does draw you in to read it, your writing and description of each and every character is truly amazing. Well done.
