Seth and Julia are running away for dysfunctional families in England. They are escaping to Ireland where Seth used to live. They go to Waterfall Way where Seth gets a job in a riding school and Julia helps run the Bed and Breakfast at Waterfall Way for May the owner.

All is well and good until his psychotic mother shows up and tries to kidnap Julia. His mother thinks that Julia is Ann a woman that his mother, Margaret, murdered. Then Seth finds out she is not even his mother but his aunt. They cannot call the police because Seth is on the run from skipping parole.

They earn some extra money by singing on the street corner in Cork and eventually in the Elbow bar. They sing as S&J.

The ending is exciting and unexpected but very appropriate for the book. I loved the way it ended.

The book is a romantic thriller. It is a good book, I really enjoyed the songs they wrote and sang. The songs were written in the book. The Irish countryside was well described and I got a good feeling for how the country looked. I loved the meadow of flowers.
    I would recommend this book.

Thanks to Natasha Murray, BooksGoSocial, and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy.

The exciting second book in the Waterfall Way Series.
After only knowing her boyfriend Seth Hearn for a month Julia is on the run with him from West Sussex to Ireland. I have enjoyed this book as much as I did the first and was intrigued while reading it.
They must find work there and they do. Things are looking up with them starting a new rewarding life, that is until the past catches up with them.
Looking forward to the next installment in this series!

4.0 out of 5 stars An engaging crime drama.

Julia’s Baby had an interesting vibe going for it right from the first page. The story begins soon after the tragic ending in 58 Farm End.

Julia Bridgewater, and Seth Hearn her hot boyfriend, had only known each other for a few short weeks - and now find themselves on the run, fleeing for their lives. They take the ferry to Ireland eluding the Sussex police and leaving them far behind them. Julia and Seth must lie low and hide but then try to make a living without drawing too much attention to themselves.
Seth has experience with horses having worked at Waterfall West Riding School before. He approaches the owner May in the hope she will employ him. Seth is eager to see Moss again, a beautiful black cob he had always admired and enjoyed riding him.
Circumstances change and their life in Ireland unfold with dramatic consequences.

I enjoyed the vivid storytelling, building into a suspenseful crime drama full of twists and turns.
The last three chapters had me on the edge of my seat wondering what the outcome would be for Julia.

An exciting second book in the Waterfall Way series. Looking forward to book three.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, captivating build up, to this gripping romantic suspense crime thriller.

The intriguing cover and enticing title tempted me into reading Julia’s Baby by Natasha Murray. I’m always up for testing the water and reading something fresh from a new author to me. I’m straight in with a captivating opening. Julia Bridgewater and her gorgeous boyfriend, Seth Hearn, are instantly on the run and I’m taking in the lovely descriptive scenes as they leave Southampton’s coast line behind them on a ship to Rosslare as well as feeling concerns about their future. The author creates a wonderful, tantalising build up and as the story unfolds, more trouble lies ahead keeping me on the edge of my seat. The characters, good and bad, are well fleshed out and bring so much realism to this gripping tale. I especially loved the way Natasha draws in something positive when Seth falls upon hard times, bringing out his musical writing skills. And Jules composes his songs to help mend her broken heart. There is much going on in this novel to experience, so keep focused. If you like to get into a romantic suspense crime thriller, this book is easily read as a stand alone, although part of a series. It could be just what you are looking for.

Having read book one, I was eager to see what would happen to Julia and Seth once they were on the run. The story didn't disappoint. Just when you think things are settling down, then another twist appears. Have already purchased book 3.

4.0 out of 5 stars Palpable undercurrent of tension

For the most part this reads like a straightforward romance but there is a palpable undercurrent of tension throughout knowing that Seth and Jules' past could catch up with them at any moment. Having read the first book the characters felt like old friends and I enjoyed spending time with them again. If you enjoyed the first book I would definitely read this one.
