LET IT SNOW: A Christmas Valley Romance, Book 3 (Christmas Valley Romances) Kindle Edition
The weather outside is frightful...
But inside Micah Barrow’s house, it’s just delightful.
Sylvie French has been hired by Micah’s family to decorate his house for Christmas. It’s a surprise for the returning Marine, recovering from a harrowing battle in which three of his friends were killed.
Micah doesn’t like surprises, or being woken up out of a dead sleep to Christmas music blasting through his house. All he wants is be left alone. He doesn’t need a knock-out Christmas decorator spouting holiday cheer, either, and really, did she have to fall off the ladder just because he yelled at her? His first day home and he not only has to take Sylvie to the ER, but now he’s on a guilt trip to help her finish decorating the tree. And what’s with Mother Nature dumping 36” of snow while they work?
Micah’s been without a woman for too long, but Sylvie’s appeal goes beyond that. He’s never believed in love at first sight, but too bad for him—in his family, that’s the way the genetic dice rolls. Sylvie’s had only one serious relationship, which ended in betrayal. Sure, she likes Micah, and man, can he kiss, but their relationship is missing something. Something important.
Micah doesn’t get why Sylvie shies away.
Can Sylvie unravel the problem herself in time to spend Christmases-ever-after with the man of her dreams?

About the author

Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.
An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2016First, I would like to thank Ann Simas for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Let It Snow: A Christmas Valley Romance by Ann Simas is dedicated for anyone who loves to catch snowflakes on their tounge, or who hasn’t ever tried but wants to.
If you enjoy a story with a very happy ending but a surprising beginning, love at first sight, surprising pregnancies, war vets, PTSD, a sweet Christmas tale, adorable doggies, accidents that bring two people together, Christmas surprises, snow storms, sexual tension, proposals, etc. Then this is the book you need to read. It is a quick read that will grasp your attention from start to finish.
I got a chuckle out of the Author Note as she talks about how much she loves snow! Living in Buffalo, NY we always get hit with tons of snow each year!! I agree it is pretty at Christmas time-but then it can melt!
Favorite quote of the book: “When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels. Author unknown.”
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2016I am just loving the CHRISTMAS VALLEY ROMANCE books. This book gives us Sylvie & Micah. Love at first sight, some ups & downs and an HEA. We also get to hear from the other characters in the set of books as they interact and offer advice. This is my 2nd read by this author and I can't wait to read more from her.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2017Let It Snow y Ann Simas is the first book I have read by this author. It's the third book in her Christmas Valley romance series. It can be read as a standalone book. I thought it was a good book. I enjoyed reading Micah and Slyvie's story. It is full of Christmas magic, love, and more. Sylvie is hired to decorate a house for Christmas and she figures she should get it done asap. She doesn't realize the owner is home so she puts on her Christmas music and begins the job at hand. Then she is started by Micah and ends up falling off a ladder and getting hurt. He checks her over and gives her his diagnosis and insists she go to the hospital. Unfortunately she is unable to finish the job or any others due to her injury. The two of the spend time together and they have chemistry but there is something missing there. Sylvie decides she needs space to figure things out and Micah is devastated. Will she be able to figure things out? Or will she continue to run away from him? Will he be able to convince her that he's the man for her? Or will the two of them end up miserable without each other? I would recommend Let It Snow to anyone who enjoys Christmas romances. I look forward to reading more books in this series as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2017A book about love at first sight.
He falls instantly.
She's more skeptic.
Thrown together by work, an injury and classic snow storm, Sylvie and Micah work through their individual issues to to take the leap with their soul mate.
A light, ultra sweet read, Let It Snow is 3.5 stars for me. Readers who don't like instalove will cringe but I'm a softie for love at first sight. The h in this book had just enough fight to question the soul mate theory. The H is a former Marine plagued with nightmares and never expected to find his One True Love. Fate has intervened for them both wrapped in a HEA Christmas bow.

This story left you feel warm and fuzzy inside when you finish it. I love reading stories about small towns where everyone knows everyone and helps each other. This is one of those stories. Sylvie is decorating Micah’s house for the holidays as a surprise for when he gets home. But little does Sylvie know she is in for a surprise, Micah is home and scares her when she is decorating the tree. Their first time meeting each other is not a good one. You’re not sure if they like each other at all. But the tables turn when Sylvie hurts her shoulder and he ends up taking care of her. Do sparks fly as they get to know each other? Is it love at first site? Grab a warm cup of hot cocoa and curl up are read to find out how their story goes.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2016This is the third Christmas Valley book by Ann Simas. Each are wonderful as standalone books, but it is nice to see repeating characters in each of the other novels. One of Ann's strengths is writing about characters that you would like to meet and spend time with in your own life. The story is an easy read, but you will find that it goes beneath the surface as you read along. Check out this new novel by Ann Simas. If you haven't read all the rest of her novels, treat yourself to entertaining reads.

I love how the author handles complicated storylines and interweaves them effortlessly.
I'm looking forward to the next book!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2016Silvia French is asked by Tilly to decorate her brother Michahs house for Christmas before he returns from Afghanistan. It’s supposed to be a surprise from his family.
Michah Barrow returns earlier than expected. He is awaked from a noise in his home and rushes down with a gun in his hand and nothing else. Seeing Silvia on a ladder by a tree he demands what she is doing in his house. Startled she falls from the ladder and gets an eyeful of Michah in his naked glory.
This is a wonderful Christmas read including a hot military man, a retired Military Working Dog, and of course a clever and witty heroin. I really enjoyed this story and a return to Christmas Valley. I recommend this book as part of your Christmas “must read” books.
