    I thought this book was great I would give it 5/5 stars.
    Advertising agencies have a hard job, of trying to get people to like different things. They have a tendency to get bad raps when an ad doesn't go they way the company wants.

    Levi Wolcott is new to the team. He is funny, brilliant, and an all around spoiled brat when doesn't get his way

    Sloane is his boss and she is one of the few women executives out there.

    Can these two make the leap from business to friend to lovers to actually admitting they love one another. Sloane gas a lot of inhibitions and fears She projects a hard as nails personality but her childhood swastika pretty messes up and that leaves her afraid. Can Levi get past it and get her to open up?

    Levi is trying his best to quiet down his friends in the hotel room he rented for the night. Granted, it is his best friend’s bachelor party, and yes he did hire a stripper for the night. Twice, security has knocked on the door and given them a warning, but it hasn’t helped. When he leaves the next morning, he runs into a beautiful woman that apparently was staying in the room next door. Apologizing to her for all the noise, she basically gives him the cold shoulder. Arriving at his new job at one of the largest advertising agencies in Chicago, he is pumped. When his new boss introduces him to all the executives in the company, Levi is shocked to see the woman from the hotel, and her name is Sloan. The group of guys he will be working with call themselves, The Brew Crew, due to the fact that they work on ad campaigns for several beer companies. As an initiation prank, first they take him out to lunch and get him drunk, telling him it’s research for the ad campaign. Second they rig his computer so it looks like he’s watching Porn while working. When Sloan sees what is on his computer, she thinks that maybe it was a mistake to hire him.
    Sloan knows she’s being extra hard on Levi thinking he’s the one that’s getting married. However, when Sloan finds out the truth about his single status and the pranks that were played on him, she makes a decision to go to his apartment to apologize. How they ended up in bed is still hazy to her. As they begin a sexual relationship, both of them are starting to have feelings for each other. Sloan has never done relationships and Levi is not far behind. How can they move forward if neither one is willing to admit the truth.
    As with any book that Kelly Jamieson writes, you won’t be able to put it down!

    I grabbed this a while back and finally decided to give it a go. I was looking for a light read since I was just coming off of a much heavier book.
    This is a cute story about a budding romance between an extremely independent woman and her new hot-shot playboy coworker. Of course they try to deny their attraction in the beginning but quickly realize there is no point in denying the inevitable. They try to keep their relationship a secret and it was fun to watch them coming to terms with the fact they both wanted more.
    While I did enjoy the story I still had a few issues with it. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll try to explain the best I can. While the schmexy scenes were hot, I felt thrown off sometimes by poor word choice. Also, we basically read about every encounter they had, which made the book drag a bit. Then the whole thing with her mom struck me odd. I realize this was the catalyst for professing their affections, but I felt it was a much deeper topic for such a light read. It was almost like a different story that got thrown in to add a little angst. It just made the book drag more.
    I will however look for books from this author in the future because I enjoyed the characters and would enjoy reading more about them.

    Based on the title, I thought that this book was going to be about a group of people who hung out in bars. I was so wrong. I truly enjoyed the book because it deals with what seems like real people with real life problems. The characters Levi and Sloane, were deeply developed and explored. I came to care about them and their issues and how they were going to cope with the issues. The story was satisfying on both the intellectual and emotional level. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more in the series. Kelly Jamieson is a terrific author.
