Shape shifters Chiara and Aros are lovers and soul mates. Aros is a powerful werewolf while Chiara is a beautiful and potent were-lynx. Mid-Winter has come and the two lovers, together in the forest, are distracted when rapacious men surround them in a trap. Spurred into sudden fury, Aros flees—only to realize his lover has not escaped with him. Worse, in the aftermath of rage, Aros succumbs to an irresistible instinct for winter hibernation.

Yet even in his slumber, Aros is aroused by thoughts of Chiara. Fighting against instinct, he shakes off his winter sleep and, catching the fresh scent of her, begins a relentless hunt for his beloved.

A human named Gero discovers the naked, unconscious body of the beautiful Chiara and soon takes her to his cabin in the woods. After losing his father to a werewolf, he is hell bent on seeking vengeance, and will do anything to rid the world of all shape shifters. He doesn’t realize what Chiara is as word reaches him of a werewolf on the prowl…

Will Aros and Chiara be reunited? Or will Gero forever separate them in his blind quest for revenge?

Love Hunters is a 11,500-word novella.

Chiara and Eros are both weres. They are young (as all weres remain), lusty, passionate, and in love. They are equally physically desirable in both their were and human forms. Yet, like females and males of all species, there are important differences.
Eros, is a were-wolf, and less able to control his emotions. He is more comfortable as a wolf than as a human. Chiara is a were-lynx, a feline, more even-tempered and rational. She is more comfortable, especially when making love, as a voluptuous woman.
Despite their differences, they are soulmates who have imprinted one another. As shifters they have heightened senses, incredible strength and speed, and superior instincts. The one thing that endangers their welfare is their ardor for one another. On a mid-winter day, when making love, they recklessly leave themselves totally vulnerable and pay the price. A hunter’s net drops and ensnares them.
They are separated and caged. Both eventually escape, face different dangers, and have different encounters with men. The question is whether their love combined with their were sensibilities can help them reunite.
    A well-written and erotic read.
