I received an ARC in return for my honest opinion. How to put into words the emotional roller coaster Jordan just put me through? I freaking LOVED IT! So many twists and turns to this story had me practically on the edge of my seat! That is, when I wasn't curled up in a ball rocking on the floor! Jordan, you are on of the most inventive writers I have had the pleasure of reading! Nicole, Dragon, Crusher, Dani, Dancer, Carrie....I just can't get enough! Thank you Jordan for trusting me to read and review this book you struggled so much with! You blew this book out of the water! Loving Nicole will forever be one of my top 5 reads (FOREVER!)! If you haven't read any of Jordan's books, you are seriously depriving yourself of some of the best reads out there! I am now gonna wait with baited breath for Crushers story! Jordan YOU ROCK!!!

    Third in a series for mature adults (18+ years old) as it contains scenes stereotypical for the MC genre with examples listed below. This is NOT a stand-alone read. It is essentially the second part of Nicole’s and Dragon’s story. In addition, it has reoccuring characters from the previous stories, the timelines overlap and it has overarching themes.

    ** If you have not read any of the previous stories, the following may contain spoilers **

    ⛔️ Contains references to, or detailed scenes with subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language; derogatory terms; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, dubious consent, spanking for pleasure, multiple partners; mental health issues; violence such as kidnapping, abduction, murder, torture, rape, attempted rape, blackmail, threats, fighting, jealousy, subterfuge, betrayal, drug use, drug distribution, gun running, domestic violence, etc.

    ** There are several scenes that contain graphic details of torture. They fit into the storyline, but may be a trigger for some **

    There are a some grammatical issues, but nothing that was difficult to interpret. There were a few incorrect word choices, missing and extra inserted words. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.

    This story contains multiple POVs and has a lot more information about Dani’s background, her husband, brother, and how her friendship with Nicole actually began. It begins with the wedding planning well underway and demonstrates the love that Dragon (and the brothers in the club) have for Nicole that they are willing (with some favors thrown in to persuade) to wear “monkey suits”.

    It also contains some of the most heartbreaking and uplifting scenes I have ever read. I felt the anger, heartbreak, disappointment, frustration, lust, depression, panic, hope, fear, pain, grief and most importantly, love experienced within the scenes.

    Here is a high-level overview of how it begins:

    The wedding date is fast approaching when Dani finds a cutout from a magazine showing a picture of a young newlywed society couple in New York … Michael has found them and wants revenge from both of them for Nicole lying to him about Dani, helping her get away from him and the money they stole …

    He is a psychopathic sadist that will stop at nothing to get what “belongs to him”. How can they protect little Dragon and themselves without endangering everyone at the MC?

    We are back with the Savage Brothers MC. And we’re not just back but we’re back with Dragon and Nicole from Breaking Dragon. She’s going to be having his baby and they’re getting married. Everything is going perfect. Dragon has his woman, his baby in her belly, his club is all together, and he and Nicole are about to get married. But someone from Dani’s past is about to destroy everything.

    I will tell you that I love seeing the growth that Nicole has gone through. We saw snippets of it from Saving Dancer, but we see even more here. We even find out that Dani’s shallowness wasn’t because she was so shallow, but rather to have a completely different life than the one she’d lead before. And we get to see the whole gang, Bull, Crusher, Frog, Freak, Dancer, Carrie, Skull and a few new faces as well.

    I won’t give anything away in this story. Just what you see there. I will say that this didn’t start out to be a novel. Jordan said she wanted to give her fans a little more than just the HEA she gave us in Breaking Dragon. But she ended up with something even greater. She tied several stories together in this one story. And though all of her stories are stand alones, you might want to skip this one if you intend to keep it that way. However, if you skip it…..be prepared to miss out on oh so much!

    Jordan Marie continues writing about her motorcycle club in her sleepy Kentucky town. And I’m not sure if I’d say this is her best story to date, because for me, not much can top Saving Dancer, but this one is still amazing. There are parts of this book that had me giggling, and parts that had me raiding my chocolate stash and bawling my eyes out. I think a reader on her street team hashtagged readerrelatedweightgain.     This is another great book in the Savage MC series. This is hard book to review as I don't want to give away any spoilers.
    I love Dragon I do but in this story he lost my respect with what he does. When it all comes to a head he gained it again.
    I love this series it gives me the most surprises and when I think I have it figured out another twist. I have decided that the best course of action with this series is to sit back and read and whatever happens happens.

    Nicole in this story is so strong and what I find is that this girl can hold a grudge, not saying it wasn't warranted because it was, but at the same time she really punishes Dragon and considering what she went through I do understand but, it wasn't all Dragon. Nicole and Dani were also to blame in this story. Dragon did what he thought was best for Nicole, Dani and most of all his club so Nicole punishing Dragon the way she did was not all his fault. Dragon in this story lost a little something for me. He lost that hard, stubborn, badass biker mojo. He sort of became a little wimpy for me. But, not to worry when Nicole really pushes Dragon he snaps and he becomes the biker that we all love.
    This is a shorter story then the rest of the series, this is more of a Noelle then then a novel and I think this book was put in because this book leads nicely into the next book that is all about Dani. She has had a hard life and so when things come out about her if is no wonder why she and Nicole did what they did. You will have to read the book because I do not want to give away spoilers.

    Let it be known i am Jordan Marie obsessed! This is the first book of hers i have read, (i have read all but 2) that has made me cry. Maybe because there is a baby involved? Whatever, it is a one of a kind love story. The ending is brilliant! Definitely read this one BEFORE CLAIMING CRUSHER,otherwise you get a bit of the same story twice! Keep writting Jordan x
