My heart was consumed with every emotion as I read the Dandelion. A truly amazing journey that will bring you to your knees while opening your heart and pouring love into your soul through the most extraordinary characters. The Dandelion is one of the most enthralling charming stories it will emotionally transcend you and trust you to believe in faith and fate. 10 STARS

    Not necessarily perfect, but a good read, nonetheless. This is women's fiction with high romantic elements. I hadn't read any of Michelle Leighton's books prior to this one, but the book blurb was a big draw. Like most women's fiction with romantic elements, this book highlights the romance, but also draws heavily on the setting and secondary characters. Overall, at the heart of this story is a second chance romance that is heartbreaking, tender, and ultimately hopeful. My biggest reason for not giving it 5 stars is my least favorite 1st person narrative. It has to be seamlessly written in order to keep me fully immersed and not distracted. Overall, I enjoyed the story and would definitely try more of her work.

    This was the perfect book to bring me out of a reading slump. I love 2nd chances, but this book was way more than that. I’ll admit I ugly cried for Sara and what was happening as well as for Abi after the big secret she revealed. And Sam, oh Sam, where are all the good, patient, loving guys like you hiding?? What a fantastic, yet heartbreaking story. Solid 5+++ stars
