    This series has continually proved that it belongs in my top 3 series favorites. I adore the characters. Like they are My absolute favorite. And sloane!!!!!! There is no fmc Like her and I am here for it. I love that she has all this power and Is indestructible. This book had quite a bit thrown at you well and Sloane and the guys. So many new revelations and a new character that I had no idea I needed. I am stoked to be going to the fae lands Next, I need to see them get taken down, and hopefully sloanes mother is there. Each book keeps getting better and better, and I didn't think that was possible because the First book was perfection. MF Adele is magical, and her writing brings out all the feelings .

    An emotional Sloane. It was as shocking as it was so welcomed to read and, as the author states, difficult to write. This is such a great series, load of death & destruction, mates, mayhem & mysteries, and loads of hellfire hot scenes. But Sloane had the emotional capacity of a twig. So to see her actually crack, breakdown, take time to process and work through things… was refreshing, and I’m really glad the author took the time for the character development.

    I’ve been waiting for Vaughn’s book since the beginning of the series and I absolutely can’t wait for the story in the fae realm!

    I love this series and these characters - I anxiously await each new release. This one wasn’t my favorite, though still good overall. This one felt a little chaotic to me, some things a little anticlimactic or glossed over, some things hinted at but not really detailed enough. I know this was supposed to be an emotional book for Sloane, and it was to some extent, I just wish for a little more - more detail, more rawness, more explanation and not as much jumbled chaos - though I think some of that was to try to showcase Sloane’s jumbled emotional turmoil. Overall it was still a good read and I’ll absolutely be continuing with the series.

    MF Adele has once again outdone herself. I find myself once again in awe of not only her spectacular writing skills and amazing story line but also her character and world building. The Chronicles of Sloane King world is beyond massive. spanning multiple realms, including so many different types of supernaturals, and incorporating different legends I’m not sure how the author manages to not only paint such a clear picture while simultaneously giving you a hilarious, blood thirsty, and emotional storyline. From the first page I was sucked in and begging for more by the last.

    Mage Massacres picks up right where Shifter Situations ended. We find our merry bunch of psychos I mean mates on their way to Northern Ireland for the Guild and any new trouble they can get themselves into. Poor Sloane is put through the emotional wringer in this book between her mates, her family, and all the problems and responsibilities she’s inherited. Don’t worry just because we get all the feels in this book doesn’t mean we don’t get a whole lot of snark, steam, and all out bloodthirsty moments.

    Honestly, I have read all of the books in this series twice and enjoyed it the second time around just as much as the first time! This is an awesome series with fantastic characters, the best being Sloane f@#$ing King. I love a strong heroine and this author delivers that in spades. This was a great continuation of this series and I can't wait to see what happens next. I would definitely recommend.

    I'm still waiting for an actual apology from Palmer. I won't say what he did, just that I don't remember him actually telling Sloane he was sorry, the guys heard that, but he never said it to her, so I'm still waiting and I think I'll be waiting forever. Same goes for the dad's. Novak...... Millie and Murphy were fun additions.

    5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.

    4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.

    3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.

    1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
