For years poor Mary Tudor has had to stagger through history to the taunts of 'Bloody Mary', but in recent years there have been academics, historians, and authors who now write with far more intelligence, sympathy and understanding on Mary and her reign. Historical books like these are usually lengthy by nature, but this little book fills a very welcome niche for the more casual reader who has an interest in history.
This is a superb little book, and despite its only 78 pages it contains far more sensible, solid and useful facts and advice than in some other heavier tomes.
