- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2023Good book
- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2019I enjoyed this series very much as they built on each other and added new players that made sense. The period was well described and the characters believable. The mysteries developed naturally bringing in so much historical data about the early occult fad thus keeping me interested in the series. Just edgy enough.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2019I loved these stories and have already gotten number 4. I enjoyed Mina and wanted to meet her in person! It was hard to put the books down. I also learned some history and medical stuff.

1.0 out of 5 stars A synopsis of the story would help but if you have experience of the author you expect or to be good
I bought this product as I had so enjoyed the Francis Doughty books by this author. These books were, by comparison, boring with far too much descriptive narrative and no real substance to the story.
