4.5 out of 5 stars 773 ratings

A heart-warming Christmas romance set in Cornwall! Perfect for fans of Trisha Ashley, Victoria Walters, Heidi Swain and Phillipa Ashley…

Can Beth learn to open her heart this Christmas…?

Between setting up her boutique and raising her six-year-old son, single mum
Beth Sterling has little time for romance.

Keen to expand her clientele, Beth moves her business into a cosy converted stable on the scenic Trenouth Estate.

However, her focus soon wavers when she meets
Tristan Trenouth, the handsome but aloof owner of the estate. Each wilful and outspoken, Beth and Tristan are soon clashing whenever they cross paths.

With the estate’s charity ball and Christmas fayre on the horizon, the two grudgingly put their differences aside and agree to work together. And as they spend more and more time in each other’s company, their uneasy truce blossoms into a strong mutual attraction.

But with a young son, a fledgling business and a painful past to contend with, Beth needs someone she can rely on. And Tristan has demons of his own to face…

Can Beth get her boutique up and running in time for Christmas? Will she and Tristan find happiness together?

Or will the shadows of the past drive them apart…?

MISTLETOE AT THE MANOR is a contemporary festive read you won’t be able to put down. Get lost among the snowy hills of Cornwall in this glittering Christmas romance, perfect for cosy winter nights.

Teresa F Morgan lives with her two sons and a budgie called Rio.

Family holidays in Cornwall have inspired the scenic Cornish coastline to be the backdrop for her novels, especially her Kittiwake Cove series.

In 2014, Teresa was a contender for the Romantic Novelist Association’s Joan Hessayon New Writer’s Award with her debut novel ‘Plus One is a Lucky Number’.

She is a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association and The Society Of Authors.

Teresa is her happiest baking cakes, putting proper home cooked dinners on the table (whether the kids eat them or not), reading a good romance, or sitting at her PC emptying the thoughts from her head onto the screen. She loves a cocktail or two, too.

Teresa loves writing contemporary romance, creating stories with a touch of escapism and heroes readers will fall in love with.

I love any story that is centered around my favourite holiday of the year, Christmas; a time for family and friends to get together.

Teresa F. Morgan is a new author to me and I couldn’t wait to read. Ms. Morgan’s description of Trenouth Estate drew me in and held my attention. I love single parent stories and this one was an entertaining read.

Beth Sterling is doing her best to look after her son and the last thing she needs or wants is to fall for the owner of the estate, Tristan Trenouth. However, Beth has baggage and Tristan will have his work cut out for her. When the past comes back to haunt her, will it bring them together or rip them apart.

Young single mom Beth has been running her business out of the spare bedroom of her brother's home for far too long. So, she finds a venue to move her shop to, where she can see clients on an appointment basis, and everything seems to be looking up for her... Until she meets the "lord of the manor," Tristan.

He's hot-headed, contemptuous and quick to criticize. Yet there's something about him... After all, if he was really that grumpy, how could he have such a gentle and loving dog?

While Tristan regularly puts his foot in his mouth, Beth blossoms and begins to find her own way as her business takes off. Neighboring shop owners become extended family to her and her son, George, and with the holiday season upon them, it seems like there's so much more to be thankful for this year, especially when a last-minute cancellation puts Tristan in a bind, and Beth is the only one who can save him!

It's always a bit challenging when you realize as you're reading a book that you like some of the secondary characters more than the main ones. Seb and Tristan's mother were both wonderful characters that made my heart glow. Tristan and Beth? Not so much...

Still in all, this was a sweet holiday romance set on a manor, and if you love enemies-to-lovers stories, you might enjoy this one.

Thank you to Teresa Morgan, Saga Egmont and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

This is a perfect holiday book. I found the writing style to be a little stilted, and a little more of 'tell' as opposed to 'show', but it's light-hearted and easy to read, and suited my current need for a book that I can read for pure escapism. The characters are engaging, and the plot reasonable. Thanks to Sapere Books for giving me the opportunity to read it.

This was a nice feel good story. It has a few heart wrenching moments much like life. It’s a nice holiday book perfect for a lazy afternoon. I enjoyed it.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy

I really enjoyed reading this book about Beth the single mum to George and Tristan the owner of the stables where she has her boutique. Tristan nearly ran Beth over the first time they saw each other so things were a bit strained to start with.

I have read all of Teresa’s books and this is my favourite so far! The characters are all likeable and it was nice having characters from previous novels mentioned in this book. It was great that it covered subjects like single parenting and sexuality. A lovely Christmas themed novel and I look forward to the next one!
