    A friend recommended this novel to me. It's not my usual genre, but "My Mr. London" was well written and kept my interest, even if I had to turn away and blush at times. If you are a fan of contemporary, steamy romance, this is the book for you. The story moves along quickly and the characters are very relatable. I found myself rooting for Richie's and Julia's romance. The leading lady's relationship with her mother is very touching and before I finished reading this novel, I was emotionally invested in the story and characters. I think you will enjoy it too.

    I liked the story, it moved at a fairly fast pace but then it is not that long. Being written in the first and present tense made it seem a bit disjointed at times, but then most books I read are either written in the 3rd person or in the past tense. It was good to read a story about a rock star boy and a non-rock star girl, it made a change. I loved that it was set in London (my home town), the settings are real and accurate - although "Parker" is more of an American name than an English one. Julia's insecurities were real and authentic, she is a girl that the reader can identify with on lots of levels.
