Will the demons from their past succeed in tearing them apart?

After personal tragedy strikes, Mohini Kapoor runs away from the city to her grandparents home in a village in Punjab. Though she manages to pick up the pieces of her broken self, and even builds a life for herself, the horror of her experience is difficult to forget. She buries it deep down inside her subconscious mind until the arrival of a stranger threatens to resurrect the old demons.

Reputed photojournalist, Aalok Ahuja, has to hide out for a few days to escape circumstances beyond his control. When his friend recommends Tejopur, a remote village in Punjab, Aalok expects life to be simple there and, perhaps, even boring - instead, his world is thrown into chaos by a woman more desirable, and vastly more complicated, than any he has ever known.

When their destinies collide, attraction flares, but secrets threaten their new found feelings. Should they cut and run or give love a chance?

My love affair with books began when I was a tot. A fabulous mother, who recognized the power of the written word, read to me and my sisters every night, introducing us to the wonderful world of the imagination.

Once I could read on my own, I graduated from fairy tales to adventure stories to romance, spending all my pocket money on books. My father served in the army and took the family along mostly wherever he went, resulting in experiences that beg to find a place in my books.

I am a surgeon, but make time for my other passions – reading and writing stories, watching romantic comedies, and doing creative things with wool and a crochet hook. I also love solving the Hindu crossword, and - when my muse is elusive - I enjoy pitting my wits against my husband's at Scrabble®. When I have no other choice, I can be found in the kitchen putting together my 'world-famous' one-pot meals.

Writing about love and happy endings feeds my romantic soul; hearing from my readers thrills me. Do write to me at reetsingh.author@gmail.com Visit my website at http://reetsingh.in to learn more about me.

The long wait is finally over and Reet Singh has finally published her new novel “ No Escape From Love “ which is so aptly Titled . What can I say…..It’s a Reet Singh novel!!!! As always she has delivered another brilliantly awesome 5 star read. Like her previous two books “Scorched by His Fire” & “The Cure was Love” Reet had already raised the bars and with this story she has definitely succeeded to exceeded the expectations for her readers.

Reet has a preceptive ability to create stories that are intriguing, engaging, heartfelt and of course off the charts sexy. Her characters are multidimensional and very relatable. Her books will bring out all the feels. No Escape From Love is no different. I was laughing at times, but then I was kicked in the gut and my eyes had tears in them. But in the end she always puts me back together and I have a HUGE smile on my face. Both Aalok and Mohini characters were beautifully narrated , they were witty , fun but at the same time they were insecure and broken. They both had been through their shares of pains in their past. But as the saying going true love overcomes all obstacle. It’s a beautiful and emotional tale of love, pain , trusting , healing and moving on .It’s a beautiful fast paced page turning story which captured my attention from the get go .

What I love the most about Reet’s books is that she gives a fun and entertaining story but also so much more. Her books have such depth to them, you never really know what you’re going to get until you start reading. She knows how to balance the light and happy with the dark and sad perfectly. Her books flow perfectly and I always think the same thing in the end….I want more!!!

The more books I read by this author the more I fall in love with her writing. Her stories and characters just keep getting better and better. This book was so good, all I can really say is that this is a MUST READ!!!

I can’t wait to read Reet’s Next book and really hope the wait won’t be too long .

It’s been a while since this author released a book, and I had been waiting for something new with bated breath. Suffice to say the wait was worth it because “No Escape from Love” lives up to the hype. What I had loved most about previous releases like “The Cure Was Love” and “Scorched by His Fire” was the irresistible combination of scorching chemistry and troubled characters. And that’s exactly what this new book delivers, as well.

This is the story of two people who’ve been scarred by something in their past. Mohini battles with the loss of her husband and the nagging doubt that she never even knew this man with whom she had a daughter. Aalok battles with the fear that he’ll one day turn into his abusive father, which is why he shies away from true commitment and tries to be a lucky-go-happy gigolo. Of course, when these two are thrown together, their lives turn upside down. What begins as a game of cat and mouse with quite some suspicions and animosity turns into an ‘opposites attract’ tale of love. There’s way more than physical attractions between them—though there’s plenty of that too—and once Mohini and Aalok finally muster of their courage, the sparks really begin to fly.

If you enjoy Indian romance with a steamy touch, a refreshing dash of humor liberally sprinkled into the story, authentic emotions and interesting protagonists, then you’re in for a treat.

Very light and sweet book. It was nice to forget about the election and covid19 drama and lose myself in a feel good romance. Kept picturing Penelope Cruz as Mahini for the movie

A story of two broken souls. Mohini and Aalok. Two broken souls are woven together to make them complete again. This book has a few laughs. A very easy read, one would love the chemistry between Mohini and Aalok. Small instances have been added by the author to make this a very cute romance. For eg., I loved the way Aalok got the teddy bear for Mohini. It was such a sweet touch which we women just love. I liked the earthy feel of this story. Reet has brought the happiness of Punjab to her readers via her story.

The best part of the story are the backstories of both the characters. It balanced the sweetness in the romance.

There are a few secondary characters in this story whom you will just love. Tina and Ritvik (Ritvik of course for personal reasons I will always love a character named so .. hahahah) But they added a humor quotient to the story.

If you love a hot and cute romance, this book is definitely for you.

'No Escape From Love' is a sizzling romance between a cute, fiesty heroine Mohini and handsome hulk Aalok. Both have a tumultuous past and are trying to fight their demons, they help each other to come to terms with their lives conflicts. I would have loved to know more about secondary characters' story and motivation.

Written in the signature style by Reet Singh, the flow is smooth and flawless making one finish the novel at one go. Explosive chemistry between the two protagonists makes it a hot read. Recommended for all romance lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great entertainer!

Written in pristine language, with understated elegance and tongue-in-cheek humour, this was a breezy romance with all the tropes in place. It was lucid, just like the characters who were unabashed in displaying their emotions ;-) All of it sautéed with Punjabi tadka, made it all the more entertaining.

The hot and cold skirmishes between Mohini and Aalok were quite interesting and the confusion and drama that ensued with the arrival of more characters was downright hilarious at times. It reminded me of the classic comical capers or even the comedy of manners. Tiger the cat and Raja the teddy-bear were adorable, and were as much a part of the tumultuous interaction. And so was Mohini’s daughter Ria who added all the sweetness required to make a lovely story.

The rustic village in Punjab and the charming old house with its garden was a perfect backdrop. The description showed how much the author loved writing about something very close to her heart.

A great entertainer, Reet. I hope you come up with more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sizzling romance at its best

An author gifted with eloquent prose is always a delight to read. Reet Singh has woven another interesting story packed with sizzling romance. The narrative is rich with good measure of humor, and the characters, though believable, are a bit strange in their spontaneous behavior.

When Alok and Mohini, two hot blooded characters hungry for love, are thrown together, the inevitable has to happen. The ‘chemistry’ turns into ‘physics’ rather too rapidly as the two are in too much of a hurry to get horizontal. Physical craving seemed to be the dominant factor in their equation. This was amply demonstrated by the manner in which Mohini goes to meet with Alok in the end, nearly pleading for a reunion. And once again, without wasting time on the preliminaries, they end up in bed. Now that could be the typical Punjabi style of ‘love’, where action matters more than anything else.
If you are looking for a tale loaded with steaming romance, and a happy ending, go for it, for not many can do the love scenes better than this versatile author.

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I'm delighted with her writing style. She uses a subtle humor that makes the story most enjoyable for someone like me who loves sarcasm. The romance builds up nicely and there's a LOT of chemistry between Mohini and Aalok. I'm traveling, but I couldn't put the book down halfway - just had to finish it! It is a lovely HEA.

The long wait for Reet Singh’s next has ended. No Escape from Love doesn’t disappoint. Aalok and Mohini, both damaged and fighting personal demons, meet and chemistry flares between them. She’s fiery and volatile, he’s damnably logical. Can love be far behind? As always, Reet’s characters are real and reel you into their topsy turvy lives. And yes, he’s as sexy as hell!
