Navals of War: ~xX.Deadeye.Xx~'s Tale (Tales of Gentalia Book 5) [Print Replica] Kindle Edition
A mystery prize up for grabs.
A competition to end all others.
Industry Giant Tornado Tech had promised the prize to end all prizes in their latest game Navals of War, but when it was discovered that the requirements were next to impossible to obtain nearly everyone had given up on it. ~xX.Deadeye.Xx~ and his not so friendly rival AyeBroham still have their eye on the prize, even if it will take years to obtain.
But not all contests are created equal and when the prize is suddenly up for grabs both rivals will do anything in their power to be the one that comes out on top. How will the pair face the challenges that await them in a game that now wants to stick it to them at every turn?
As the spectacular S.S. Aircraft Carrier looms before them an important question remains unanswered. What kind of first person shooter would pit their players against each other in sex contests? More importantly to ~xX.Deadeye.Xx~ is his own personal question, “What exactly does any port in a storm mean?”
Warning: Contains m/m situations and cocky dude-bro banging.
While part of a series, this novelette can be read as a stand alone story!

About the author

CB Archer is a novelist who lives happily in the sunny Okanagan Valley, nestled in Canada (America’s Hat).
He maintains a regular secretive existence in the real world, and at night writes filthy filthy things that would make even the most experienced librarian change to Blush Shade #6 (The highest of the shades).
CB Archer is responsible for the Annals of Gentalia brand, and the C.ollege of U.nited M.onsters brand, and would like to apologize for nothing!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2016My plan was to read all of the Tales in numerical order, but this one was calling to me, so I threw caution to the wind and went from book one right up to five (I'm rebellious like that).
First of all, a warning: this is the least sexy erotic tale I've ever read and while that normally wouldn't be a big deal, I feel somewhat guilty about enjoying this. These characters are the very reason I never got into online first person shooters. I had had already made the mistake of wandering into video game forums as an easily identifiable female (old one at that) back in the early 00s, so...
That being said, this is hilarious. The characters are paradoxically accurate and over the top caricatures. There are Easter eggs a plenty, some very obvious (Liquid Lizard made me lol) and others even more so. The dialog with Anders, excuse me, Anderson, at the beginning is so perfectly cringeworthy that I felt justified in hating these bros.
Recommended for anyone who has ever been called a tirade of slurs by a twelve year old on Xbox Live.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2016Another hilarious entry to this series! This time we enter the testosterone-overloaded world of Single Person Shooter games, where two uber-macho players keep battling it out to a tie, until they find themselves performing some VERY unorthodox moves in order to win. There is also a brief but welcome appearance of someone very important from the main books. If you're uncertain about this series, grab this book (or one of the other shorts) and check it out! Who knows--you, like ~xX.Deadeye.Xx~, might find it more fun than you were expecting ;) The zaniness factor and snappy dialogue quotient is, as usual, high, and the sex in this one is (in my opinion) a little more vanilla than in some of the others, so this could be a good intro to the series for those who are curious but ambivalent.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2017I love how the author ties the sex to the storyline. That's something I tend to hate about sex in books, when it's just there. That being said... This isn't necessarily something I can share with my mother. Sister....maybe....
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2017Another fun side-story, plus this one has Anders as a side-character!
The two main characters are pretty terrible people, but are forced to compete (in all, explicit, senses) for the ultimate prize. Archer makes sure to show us, tongue in cheek, how bad some competitions can get.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2017CB Archer has done it again... and that's all I'm saying...
- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2017This one seemed relatively normal compared to the others in the series, which is saying something as it features a genetically modified lizard man with two *ahems* haha.
