Need I Say Moore (Sage River Romance) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 31 ratings

Hunter has been a pain in my ass for the last ten years. In and out of the hospital, he lives to terrorize the nurses. Especially me.

Every time he ends up here, it's like the universe re-aligns itself to ensure Hunter ends up in my path. But being 15 years my junior and my patient, Hunter is off-limits.

His flirting is supposed to be harmless, yet he doesn't flirt with anyone else. What is that supposed to mean?

And then we kiss, and the whole world feels like it's tilted sideways. I shouldn't want him the way I do, but why is he always on my mind.

I've played it safe all my life. And Hunter is the antithesis of safe; truthfully, when he flirts with me, it feels like a game.

I've just turned forty. I'm looking for a forever kind of love, not a fling. Can Hunter even give that to me?

This is a short, steamy curvy OWYM romance. There is light OM drama and while the MMC has been in love with her for a long time, he has been with other people. However, the kissing/intimacy exchanged is between FMC/MMC ONLY.

Another Moore gets their HEA, and this one is yet again with a younger man. To add more to it, its her patient that she takes care. Hunter, is not only battling for his health but for the woman that has claimed his heart. There is a 3rd that is interfering in their romance that has a surprise connection near the end. But they get their HEA.

Need I Say Moore is a fast story that has a few unique and a bit awkward twist that will have you taking a step back.

Georgia is tired of seeing everyone around her fall in love, the closest thing to action is a patience that comes in a gets on her nerves. Hunter could not say went it happen, but he has been in love with Georgia probably from the moment he saw her. When he ends up at the hospital, it is Georgia he wants to help him.

Georgia's past is one that has her guard up when it comes to love, and with Hunter's ways for her it is just another game. I love the twist with that dad, and how Hunter proves to Georgia of his feelings.

Great book from start to finish.

Hunter has been in out of the hospital for years waiting for a liver. Georgia works on the floor as a nurse. Hunter always flirts with Georgia and wants her to take him seriously, so he ups his game. Although Georgia is attracted to him as well, she is concerned that the 15 yr age difference and the fact that he is her patient is a big deal. She decides to stop living in a fantasy world where they can be together and decides to move on with her life and start dating. She accepts a date with a hospital donor and that turned out to be a interesting outcome. While I like a good age gap and especially a reversal... I was not invested in this couple. Yes, there was some chemistry, I read about it, but didn't feel it. I am open to reading more books from this author.

The characters in this book are great. This is such a well written love story about an older woman, Georgia who is 40 and a younger man, Hunter who is 25. Hunter needs a liver transplant and loves his nurse Georgia. Truly loves her age not a problem to him. But Georgia thinks Hunter is just teasing her with his flirting because she is 15 years older than him. When he realizes that she thinks he is just making fun of her he tells her the truth, he loves her but can she get over the age difference. This is the first book I have read from this author and she does an excellent job explaining some of the issues an older woman may feel about loving a younger man. I loved this book. It is a fast easy steamy read and I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Hunter has been in and out of hospitals for years due to his live and is on the transplant list. He has had a thing for Nurse Georgia, flirting incessantly, trying to get her to date him. Who cares if she is fifteen years older.

Georgia has always played it safe, due the teasing she received when she was younger due to her weight. Now at forty she is still single and all her younger sisters are married. She does not like to admit hut Hunter make her wish he meant the things he said.

What if he really means what he says, should she give him a chance?.

I love a good shirt, instalove story, and I especially love a reverse age gap (tired of men having all the fun!) - and this checked all the boxes. A little bit of angst from the age gap, a little bit of professional drama, a dash of family discord...a perfect recipe for romance! A couple of things I disagreed with in the story though. One, Hunter shouldn't have so much energy, charm, or good looks. The man needs a new liver...he would be exhausted, look sickly, and be jaundiced. Not super attractive, to be sure. And certainly not able to set up an impromptu picnic. And Georgia never once saw his parents visiting while she was working? As many times as he was admitted? I don't buy it. That being said, it WAS charming, and well-written, and the steamy parts definitely hit the spot. The author is allowed a bit of artistic license, don't you think?

Hunter has been in love with his nurse Georgia for as long as he's been in and out of the hospitals for liver issues. Georgia is older than Hunter by fifteen years but thinks Hunter is messing around with her. I loved this older woman/younger man love story and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. The writing is well done, the characters are likable and the ending was great. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This story focuses on heart and commonality. What really matters when you connect with someone. Hunter is a frequent patient at the hospital due to liver issue as he waits for a transplant. His nurse each time has been Georgia. He flirts with her because he has real feelings for her. But she assumes, with their age difference, that he is just playing a cruel game with her.

When they finally find a compatible donor for Hunter, he goes into surgery. When he wakes up, will she be there for him? Will she believe Austin -- Hunter’s best friend and her younger cousin -- when he tells her Hunter has loved her for years now? Will she take a chance with her life and heart?.
