As they slowly begin to trust each other, walls come down and tragic pasts emerge. Dane is haunted by the family he never had, while Izzy will stop at nothing to deny her birthright.
When Dane receives an offer he can’t refuse, will one bad decision cost him everything? Or will fate intervene and send these two down the path they were destined for?

This is a full length, stand-alone novel with no cliffhangers. Please be advised that you will find strong language, attractive men with tattoos, a dog with a cat name, steamy bedroom scenes including one involving Doritos, plenty of character backstory, and a very healthy dose of humor.

I would first and foremost like to thank everyone for taking the time to give my stories a chance. My goal is to take you out of your world, and all the stresses that go along with everyday life, and bring you into my world of romance and humor. I have a special weakness for hot alpha males and the feisty heroines who love them. Above all else, I hope you got a laugh out of my book. Grace Risata is a new author to me so she deserves a chance ;)Nights in the Fast Lane is a story of Izzy and Dane.Izzy was working in a cosmetic factory. She liked to see the negatives in everything but with her new year decision, she wanted to be a positive person...That was why when her daily crush, Brick Wall, needed help after he rescued her, she did the only thing she could and accepted him to her house.Dane was low on his luck in that period of his life. So, to be in need of Izzy was not a secy situation for him. Even though they were attracted to each other they didnt act on it. After they acted on it, some secrets revealed, some problems needed to be solved...Nights in the Fast Lane had the pieces of humour, drama, action etc. But there was some problem it didn't work well for me. Sexual scenes were a little awkward, the characters were immature for my taste. Unfortunately, I couldn't feel enough connection with the story or the characters...Maybe because it wasn't the right book for the right time, or maybe because it wasn't the kind of book I usually read.Overall, it was an okay read for me...

    I absolutely loved this book! Dane and Izzy have this chemistry between them that includes tons of witty banter, sexual tension and inside jokes, and Risata is a master at creating and combining all of these elements in her stories and characters. At times I stayed up way too late reading this book because I wanted to find out what was going to happen next (although, I also wanted the story to keep going, so in a way I didn't want it to end). This is not your typical romance novel, so be prepared for something daring and different, and be prepared for a wild ride!

Dane is a good guy and he just needs some love - which he finds with Izzie in this feel good story. There's some twists with Dane and Izzie's pasts and lots of well developed supporting characters. I found myself looking forward to picking up the book to find out what would happen with Dane and Izzie next.

    I picked this up after reading A Kiss at Midnight Review. Really funny, sweet romance with some fun characters. It got a bit long at times but overall I really enjoyed it and hope we see these characters again!

    Night in the Fast Lane by Grace Risata is the story of Dane and Izzy.
    Izzy has been eyeing Dane each day after work. Dane is working on a construction site and Izzy passes by it every day. There is also another construction guy who has been harassing her and doing pig calling. On a day where ther is several feet of snow and the pig calling guy starts up again. Izzy said something backroad him this time (not to mention giving hi. The finger). Dane comes to her rescue but ends up getting fired. Dane is having some bad luck lately. Dane was a street driver but his motor burned out then this job his buddy Spider got him involved in almost gets him killed. Now he stuck with no car or money and he just lost his current job. Dane ends up staying at Izzy house overnight. The next day Dane does find another job but he needs to stay at Izzy house as his new job wants to ensure he is more than likely reliable. Will Izzy and Dane work out there living arrangements? Will there love have a easy path..I think not..but the do end in love. (No Cliffhangers/ HEA)

    Izzy is a girl who is just living her normal, every day life. She goes to work, goes home, does what all of the rest of us does. Dane, on the other hand, is a bad boy who has had a few bad cards dealt to him and is on the run. He's seen a few things he shouldn't have, and has to leave town for a while. As luck would have it, Dane and Izzy's paths cross, and our true story starts. Dane is down on his luck and homeless, thanks to Izzy, so she takes him in. A snowstorm follows and they are stuck in the house with nothing else to do but get to know each other. He has a past, she has past boyfriend issues. They are a match made in heaven!

    Grace Risata has created an amazing book where we not only read a story, but also get an insight into Izzy's mind. And Izzy's mind is hilarious!! The best thing is, she thinks just like you and I would, it just isn't usually written into a book. That's the best part! This book isn't written to what should be proper and right, it is written as we would actually think! It's great!

    I would recommend this book to anyone ready to have a great time and enjoy a book! I couldn't put it down and was wanting to constantly read! Great job Grace Risata! I can't wait to read more from you!
