The Omega's Secret Baby (Oceanport Omegas Book 1) Kindle Edition
An omega, an alpha, and a seven year-old secret...
Eight years ago, Eli gave up his future as a veterinarian because of a blue line on a pregnancy test. Now a single dad to the best little boy in the world, he’s working at an animal shelter and trying his hardest to ignore the small town gossip that follows him and his son around. Contrary to popular belief, he does know who the other father is—the irresistible alpha from his youth. But Matt’s upper class family doesn’t think an omega is good enough for their son, and Eli’s not going to expose his kid to that kind of prejudice. Besides, Matt ran off and married someone else, so he couldn’t have felt that much for Eli, could he?
After years of trying to make his arranged marriage work, Matt’s getting divorced--much to his high society family’s dismay and fury. And his relief—something had to change. It does, when he runs into the omega he’d fallen for as a college senior and never quite managed to forget. The moment he lays eyes on Eli, he wants him back, and to hell with what his parents think.
And there’s that little boy, Eli’s son, who tugs on Matt’s heart as hard as Eli does. Could it be…?

- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2025This was a great book about it Omega, who was trying to raise his kid. An alpha that was raised with money didn’t know he had the same kid but later finds out that it’s his kid They have been lovers when they were in college and then the alpha left… Years later they meet up and it’s like nothing has changed between them. They still had all this love that they had years ago..
- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2025I liked this story. It was just the authors over use of the miscommunication trope and a 3rd act “break up” that had me groaning in exasperation.
It’s a “safe” read with a HEA but there were so many things that I wanted to have happen that didn’t. SPOILER ALERT:: When Matt’s (the alpha) mother called his son a bastard to a little 7 year old kids face AND she literally spit in Matt’s face and he just kind of took it through the whole book? That was annoying and weird.
Not horrible but don’t know if I’ll be reading anymore from this author if this is the product they put out.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2025Omegaverse is my all time favorite genre. Whenever I find an author that writes about it, I immediately run to read it. That’s why as soon as I found this series I HAD to read it!
Eli and Matt fell in love during their teen years. Matt’s parents had arranged a marriage for him but he loved Eli. However, as the responsible son, Matt put his duties first instead of his feelings which resulted in an unhappy marriage.
Eli knew about Matt’s arranged marriage but that didn’t stop them from living a torrid love affair that resulted in him getting pregnant. Eli never told anyone, including Matt who the baby’s father was resulting in him being shunned by his small town neighbors.
Eli and Matt reacquaint themselves thanks to their precious dog who used to be Matt’s years ago. The sparks they both thought had fizzled out reignite into a blazing fire that non of them can deny.
Family drama, angst, small town gossip, a secret baby and a very happily ever after is what you’ll find in this beautifully written book. What can be better than a baby and a dog? Highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2018Just a cute, fluffy light read without a bunch of angst involved, I really did enjoy this book and the audio for it. The storyline itself was interesting to me and seemed on the more realistic side, like the events in the story could actually happen, (ya know besides the whole alpha/omega Mpreg stuff). I also liked the small town feel to it, I cant wait to see what else happens in the town of Oceanport.
Omega Eli, has spent the past 7 years struggling to raise his son alone with the help of his brother, after the Alpha (Matt) he spent some time with during a break in his first semester of college took off and married someone else. Alpha Matt comes back into Oceanport after his 8 year marriage ends in divorce and happens to see his old flame Eli again, with a kid, around the age of the time he and Eli spend apart from each other.... After Matt and Eli reconnect old feelings arise and they make a go of trying to become a real family together. They just need to overcome the small town gossip, work issues, and some outrageous family drama to make it work. <spoiler>The only thing that kind of bothered me in this book, which I didn't even notice until I listened to the audiobook (I have previous read this EBook) was the overuse of the wording "The Kid" not "my kid" not "his kid" they didn't even use their kids name often. When Eli and Matt were discussing their son Jake, it was always as "The Kid". It didn't take away from the story and I didn't even notice when I read the book, but it did bother me by the end of the audio, and maybe it's just me overthinking it as well, I don't really know??? </spoiler>
Audio - I liked this book in audio, it was a really cute narration of the story and the narrator John Solo did a great job with Eli and Matts voices as well as making sure Jake sounded like a child as well since he was also a big part of the story. I cannot wait to hear how he does with the next books in this series.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2021The Omega’s Secret Baby is the first book in the Oceanport Omegas series. This series is an omegaverse romance that features mpreg, drama, and romance. I love this series and thought the worldbuilding was well done.
Eli and Matt are high school sweethearts who kept their relationship a secret from everyone. Matt is a rich alpha who’s family has lofty standards for him while Eli comes from a middle class family with more traditional expectations for their omegas. When Eli accidentally becomes pregnant with Matt’s child, Eli keeps it a secret from everyone. But secrets like this can’t stay hidden forever. I adored this book. It’s full of fluff and sweetness, but there’s enough drama and angst to keep the plot moving. Ann-Katrin is a great writing duo and they really do family dynamics really well.
The audiobook was narrated by John Solo who does a wonderful job. I love John’s voice and he was the perfect choice for this series.

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring for me…
I prefer stories with more drama. This has too much sugar, almost no problems. Ok, the dad had some strugles, but almost from the start he meets the love of his life again and they kiss&make up. Ah, and the guy is super rich, super nice, super handsome, super super, yada yada yada.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good start of the new series
I had previously read the Mercy Hills series and the Dragon series of the author and was therefore curious about the book.
I loved that this book was told by POV both by Alphamatt and by Omega Eli.
It was exciting to pursue how they both revive their formerly great love.
Jack is, of course, an absolute bonus. The little alpha that keeps everyone busy.
If you like mpreg, HEAs and second chance stories, this book will please you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous story
Of love found and then lost. Of a baby. The reunion and rekindling of that lost love. Another baby, a marriage and a happily ever after.

4.0 out of 5 stars Second chance
A chance encounter is the start to a second chance for Eli and Matt. Both of these men are bound by duty but in vastly different ways. Their journey is fraught with doubts, guilt, nosy neighbors and some family members with preconceived, old fashioned, and outdated notions - but their chemistry, passion, and connection is undeniable and allows their genuine love to grow and finally they have a sweetly satisfying HEA.
