We made small talk about Paris. It was best we didn’t know anything about each other. Why make things complicated? After we finished off a few drinks and our dinner, I paid the bill and escorted her out of the restaurant. We took the elevator up to the sixth floor, and I walked her to her room.

    I went through every emotion possible while reading this story and not often do you get to feel All the emotions possible in every story. Anna was a great character created coming from a broken non emotional and certainly not a loving family like in not at all. Through all this she not only survived but she soared on her own...she had Franco her best friend and life supporter. I truly wish I could be part of that posse! I loved that I came out of this book inspired and gaining a few precious life lesson and I would definitely recommend and read again. 💕

    Oh my sweet God I absolutely loved this book from start to finish.

    Anna a COO for her father's wine company who was set to marry a guy called Matthew. Anna realised he wasn't the man for her so she took her shoes off and ran like the wind. Her father was extremely disappointed with what she done. When Anna left she flew to Paris as her honeymoon only when she arrived there to find the room was cancelled. She booked a room and the room she normally had was taken so she had to go for the next available.

    When she seen the person who occupied the room she was kind of mifted .
    Westin is a CEO who is on business in Paris when he calls eyes on a beautiful lady. He asks her to dinner and drinks only to end up in his bed. He knew he wouldn't see her again.

    Anna moved to New York and is living with her best friend Franco. She is only one day there and she gets a temp job as an assistant little does she know it was her one night stand in Paris. When Anna moved her father sacked her from her job as COO as was giving her share to Matthew. But something was suspicious when the VP of the company called Anna saying Matthew is dealing with fraud accounts. Anna done her investigation only find him embezzling millions into an account offshore so she went to her father to tell him but he didn't want to hear it but he did listen when he found his new wife was in on it. Anna disowned her father for everything he had done I her life.

    I loved this book from start to finish I couldn't out down I was glad Anna seen past her deamons

Anna wasn’t expecting to find love on her “honeymoon” to Paris, but one night that she’d never forget was just fine with her. Wes was all about one night and no complications with this beautiful woman. They’d never see each other again and she’d never know who he really was. But sometimes fate has other plans. I loved every minute of this book!

    While this book was a quick read, it felt like it was a story combined from pieces of her previous books. There was nothing new and overall was just mediocre.
    One thing that Sandi Lynn overuses in all of her books (and it's really starting to annoy me) PLEASE use a thesaurus and find another word or expression besides SMIRK.

    They met in Paris. Not figuring on seeing each other again. Fate was on their side tho and they met and fell in love, thank goodness Anna saw Dr Parks, so she could have the baby and accepted he mother back in her her life.

Her parents had also divorced when she was very young , her father continued to be cold towards Anna so sent her away to school She did however after college return to work with her father though. Anna knows that she’ll be disowned again by her father , horrible step mother and fiancé ,so she decides to go to Paris on her honeymoon ,there she meets the gorgeous Wes and they have a night of passion , Wes leaves the next morning and Anna stays for the rest of her honeymoon. At the end of the week she goes to New York to stay with her best friend Franco , now in need of a job she finds herself going for an interview where she finds out that her boss is non other than Wes. Stunned and pleased at seeing one another they pick up where they left off in Paris . Things seem to be going well for them but of course there’s got to be one or two twists & turns for them before we get to the beautiful end 😍😍😍😍.

    Bon dans le genre stéréotype de livre de romance on fait pas mieux. Ca fait passer un bon moment mais pas plus.

    Le personnage d'Anna a un caractère bien trempé, ce que j'adore en général. Ici je m'avoue plutôt déçue car avec son caractère une grande partie de son histoire et de ses décisions font peu crédibles. Est-ce que toutes les américaines ont un meilleur ami gay qui est styliste? Ce que j'ai aimé c'est qu'elle plaque tout du jour au lendemain et soit assez confiante pour mener les choses à sa façon. et pour une fois elle a les blessures d'enfance à gérer, et non pas le personnage masculin. C'est rafraichissant.

    Le reste est assez classique des gens qui sont à fond dans leur travail et super riches, mais qui ne travaillent pas tant que ça, plus concentrés sur leurs moments avec l'être aimé et à partir à l'autre bout du monde sans préavis. Bref un livre pas très crédible - c'est sûr - mais qui fait passer un bon moment. Je pense quand même que dans le genre on peut faire mieux. Et que cette autrice sait faire mieux! Beaucoup mieux!

    Je suis dans une période de lecture, pendant laquelle je lis livre après livre. Les livres de Sandy Lynn sont plutôt basiques et attendus on ne va pas se mentir là-dessus. Pourtant son écriture est efficace. Quelques défauts et améliorations pourraient ajouter à ses livres comme approfondir les personnages secondaires (je me retrouve souvent à lire un nom et me dire "mais c'est qui lui, ou c'est qui elle?" ce qui ne m'arrive quasiment jamais -sauf si les personnages secondaires sont plus là pour faire tapisserie qu'autre chose), détailler plus certains passages - notamment ses fins quand les personnages basculent d'un opposé émotionnel à l'autre. En conclusion, les livres de cette autrice sont basiques dans le genre de la romance, à chaque fois avec le point de vue du personnage masculin et féminin d'un chapitre à l'autre. Chacun avec ses bagages de blessures émotionnelles, et chacun de retrouvant face à l'âme-soeur de façon parfois rocambolesque - ou autrement dit le destin. Des scènes de sexe bien décrites. Ce ne sont sans doute pas les meilleurs livres du genre, mais sincèrement pour une lecture agréable et simple - "ça fait la job".

    This was my first book by this author and I loved it. Wes is like the best hero you could ask for in a romantic book. Anna is a very strong independent woman she's sweet but has family issues that get in the way of her relationship with Wes. But thankfully they get past these issues and have their hea. Franco was the best friend a woman can have loved his character too.

    A very simple easy read, that doesn’t require a lot of concentration but never the less is still very enjoyable. The story flows, but sometimes seem to jump rather quickly. Situations occur, are not really explored, and move on. So much so at some points you have to re-read the paragraph to make sure you have not missed the plot. Wes is a very likeable character as is Anna. They met in Paris as the title suggests. Anna has recently run away from her marriage, jilting her intended at the alter but taking her honeymoon on her own. You guessed it Paris. The story unfolds. Some places it is quite predictable and others you didn’t see that coming, and others what happened there? I feel this author churns our books very quickly, and sometimes it shows. Hence 4 stars. A simple story, easily read, but enjoyable.
