She can feel the truth in his words when he lays his sword down and pledges himself and his blood to close the portal. She feels oh so much more for the hound and Brody already knows she's his true mate and he fully intends to claim what's his. That is if they can save the world and hide from Poseidon and Una's Guardian sisters sent after the disobedient sibling.
    This is written with all the action, lust, intrigue, twists and surprises this Author is known for. We meet many new characters that are well developed.....the story flows continuously from one scene to the next. I was absolutely enthralled with the Guardian sisters and hope that this is only the beginning. I highly recommend this to 18+ due to adult content.

    Una, daughter of Poseidon and Guardian of Pisces along with her companion, Drakon, a sea dragon, are sent on a mission by Poseidon to help the humans fight the evil they are not equipped to fight. Una and Drakon are not to cross paths with the humans but have to close the portal to the underworld where the demons are coming through. However, Una shows herself when she sees the demons tormenting shifter prisoners. She kills the demons and saves all the shifters. One is a hellhound, Brody Mason. He joins Una in the fight against the demons. Brody claims she is his mate and she does have feelings for him. Poseidon will not agree to that and he sends Una's Guardian Sisters after his disobedient daughter.

    What a story with supernaturals, Gods & Goddesses who can't mind their own business and battles between good and evil. Has so much action, intrigue, twists & turns and surprises the author is known for. I highly recommend this phenomenal book and hope Una's Guardian Sisters will get their own stories

    Out of the Ashes tells the story of Una and Brody.

    Una is the eldest daughter of Poseidon and the Zodiac Guardian Pisces. Una and her sea dragon companion Drákon, are sent to earth to help the humans against a hoard of demons that are trying to take over the earth.
    Brody is a hellhound, one of the Order of Ignis and a son of Connlaodh, who is the Master of the Order. He has been captured with some shifters by the demons who plan to sacrifice them and gain their powers.
    From the moment Una and Drákon rescue Brody and the other shifters, Brody knows Una is his fated mate.
    From here we have a good vs evil battle, romance, wise cracking dragons, hellhounds, interfering gods, and goddesses.

    I really enjoyed the book! It was a good story that I could not read fast enough!
    I recommend this book and author.

    I volunteered to read a free copy for my honest opinion.

It’s supposed to be an easy in/out kill the demons, save the hostages and head home, until Brody ( a hellhound shows up ) and just happens to be her mate. Let’s just say all hades breaks loose as she refuses to follow her father’s orders to kill Brody , her true mate and they all end up being sucked into a portal to his realm . Una must make a deal with the devil to get them all out alive, the only problem is will Poseidon allow the deal and if so how long will he allow Una and Brody to live once they get back to his realm ? Lots of twists and turns, great Greek mythology. 4⭐️‘s !! Can’t wait for the next book in the series !!

    I went through hell trying to get my ebook to open and when I finally did all the pages were black thankfully I also had an advance copy to read this series opener. I like strong women and Una, eldest daughter of Poseidon was a fine example. Brody was deeply smitten and can be compared to a faithful puppy as he would follow his goddess anywhere. From the depths of the sea and the pits of hell with earth in between this story kept you on your toes.

    I am a big fan of Ms. Mills each story that I read is better than the last and as a shifter fanatic she deals some of the best in my eyes. She joins many of my favorite authors to bring us the Zodiac shifter world. If you love sexy shifters, passion, romance and even a bit of mystery then I am sure this is a story for you

    I loved this book. Along with the Dragon Guardsmen books, this series appears to be another bestseller. Poseidon' s daughters forever mates is going to be a fantastic series and this first book has all the usual Julia Mills ingredients to deliver. Una and Brody's story is unputdownable!     Once again Julia Mills brings the story to life. I loved Una from the moment she was introduced and while I was not so sold on Brody, I liked difference between them. I also love when JM's h's kick behinds, and don't let any male push, shake, force, prod or demand anything from them.
    Despite being a goddess Una is so human in her emotions and thoughts, but she is all goddess in demanding respect and she gets it.
    That makes JM's writing work so well for me.

    The daughters of Poseidon have been raised as warriors and been tasked, as Guardians of the Zodiac, to help defend Earth and other realms from the forces of evil (helped by Poseidon's brother Hades). When Una, eldest daughter and Guardian of Pisces, is sent on a mission to Earth, she and her companion Drakon, a water dragon, manage to free some prisoners taken by the enemy, among them Hellhound Brody. Who defends Light and swears allegiance to Una. Who's also sizzling hot, and sparks soon fly between those two.
    I loved the Dragon Shifter series of this author, and was not disappointed with this first book in a new series. There are: a good plot, great storytelling, likeable and quirky characters, good dialogues, and enough twists and turns in any situation to keep a reader glued to the pages.
    If only the author or her editor would task someone more conscientious with checking the finished product for spelling errors, it would be perfect!
