Justice Driven (PBI Case Files # 4) Kindle Edition
Amazons, Horsemen of Apocalypse, Vampire, Shifters
When Devon and Sarah are kidnapped during their first date, the PBI team joins forces with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse in order to save their team members from the Amazons who are out for vengeance.
It's a showdown sanctioned by the gods, one that promises to be bloody. Will the unholy alliance be enough to save their friends? Will Sarah find a way to forgive Devon for the crimes of his past? Find out in this episode of PBI Case Files.
This book, as well as all in the PBI Case Files, is written like a television series. Each story is equal to one episode and will cover one case worked by the PBI team. It is not necessary to read each book in the series but reading them can really enhance the story telling.
The series in order up to this episode:
THE BEGINNING ~ A drunken night of mishaps leads the very human Hollister sisters to their future as PBI agents.
OUTBREAK ~ The team investigates a case that results in the discovery of a mutated strain of Ebola that turns supernatural creatures into zombies.
LOST PLANE ~ The team is called in to investigate Avalon Flight 370 which vanished over the Pacific ocean. What they learn will change them forever and leave them questioning the future. This is also the prequel to the Vanished Series.
VANISHED SERIES
DEATH INTERRUPTED ~ shows what happened to the passengers of Avalon Flight 370 when they were abducted and taken to the future moments before their death.
THE MATING CHALLENGE ~ not everyone can easily conform to life in the underground compound. Andrea Slater escapes that prison only to find herself a prisoner again. In this prison, six alpha males compete for the honor of mating with her.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2015"Justice Driven" is book four in the PBI Series by Jami Brumfield. I love this series because it reads like one of my favorite paranormal tv shows. I look forward to every episode she publishes.
In this episode Devon and Sarah finally get to go on a first date and what happens? They get kidnapped by Amazons out for revenge!!! It seems that gorgeous Devon has been keeping a secret from Sarah that may destroy their budding relationship. What is it? I'm not going to tell you!
You should start with Episode 1, but if you don't mind starting to watch a series on tv after a few have aired then you might be ok with starting this book series with this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2017Book 4 in the PBI case. I am loving these very short stories. It is, however; very frustrating that the hero and heroine also get interrupted. Looking forward to the next segment.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2016I received a free Audible copy of PBI Case Files Bundle 1 from the author in exchange for my honest review.
While I didn't get into the series right off the bat, it did quickly draw me in and once I was hooked, I was hooked. It's a series with danger and mystery that doesn't end up being dark. There are love, friendship, and entertaining moments to lighten it to a point that you shouldn't think it's very dark at all. The series includes a plethora of paranormal beings including, but not limited to, vampires, shifters (bear specifically), Amazons, demi-gods, gods/goddesses, and telepaths. The variety adds a lot of life to the story with the characters largely not being of the same species/race as one another. The main characters are Sarah (human) and her sister, Frankie (human) as well as Fang/Luke (bear shifter) and Devon (vampire). Sarah and Frankie find themselves thrust into a world beyond their imaginings (either that or death). Thus, they both join the PBI (as humans). As the series progresses, circumstances dictate actions that result in Sarah and Frankie no longer being your average humans (and neither of them is very happy about it!). The interplay between these four main characters and the others (such as Karma and Jasmine) that make regular appearances is never boring. As I said before, the books are not dark so, while there hasn't been a HEA ending yet, it is coming. We just need to have a little faith in the characters and their ability to move past adversity. Each of the books ends in a cliffhanger (which isn't a big deal for books 1-3, but stinks when you reach the end of book 4, obviously). I would recommend this to any PNR lovers who like a clean romance (sex and language, so far) romance that is an adventure and a lot of fun to listen to (or read). Needless to say, I am most definitely interested in listening to Bundle 2!

5.0 out of 5 stars Vampires, shifters and humans fighting paranormal crimes
This series gets more exciting as it progresses. Great characters, thrilling action and a fast pace. Can the vampires who are working towards redemption one good deed at a time ever pay for their terrible crimes and will the human sisters ever accept their mates. Can't wait for the next book
