About the Author

Terry Ambrose writes Mysteries with Character. He started out skip tracing and collecting money from deadbeats, but quickly learned liars come from all walks of life. His McKenna Mysteries could be called Jessica Fletcher meets Magnum, PI on Social Security. Kirkus Reviews said Terry’s writing has “. . . the kind of snark that will remind readers of Elmore Leonard.” Terry also writes real-life scam tips, author interviews, and book reviews at www.terryambrose.com.

Like Molly Barda, Frankie Bow teaches at a public university. Unlike her protagonist, she is blessed with delightful students, sane colleagues, a loving family, and a perfectly nice office chair. She believes if life isn't fair, at least it can be entertaining. In addition to writing murder mysteries, she publishes in scholarly journals under her real name. Her experience with academic publishing has taught her to take nothing personally. Sign up for news of releases, giveaways, and events at bit.ly/SpamMe.

Based in Honolulu, Kay Hadashi is a lifelong avid reader and has had an extensive career as a surgical nurse. Story plots for her novels come from events at the hospital and straight out of the news media. She knows that the best stories are the ones that come to life through the characters. Using elements from her friends, family, and herself, the characters she creates have qualities and failings that readers enjoy.

Jill Marie Landis's novels have earned distinguished awards and slots on such national bestseller lists as the USA Today Top 50 and the New York Times. She is a seven-time finalist for the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award in Single Title Historical and Contemporary Romance as well as a Golden Heart and RITA Award winner. Jill Marie resides in Hawaii with her husband. When she's not writing or sitting on the beach reading, she enjoys visiting with family and friends, raising orchids, working in her garden, occasionally quilting, but most of all dancing the hula.
