Author GM Scherbert was born on a brisk late April morning. She grew up in a small town in the Midwest but, quickly decided that was not the life for her. She quickly moved away for college and thought better of returning to that small town on a long term basis. City living is the life for her.

Her day job working with people on the Autism spectrum keeps her on the go most of the time. That is when her four small daughters and husband are not pulling her in different direction.

Author GM Scherbert is the kind of gal who is quirky, unique, smutty, hard to hate, harder to love. She has taken her love for telling stories to the next level by putting her hat in the romance writing game. If you are interested in romance with twists and some darker themes Author GM Scherbert will be right up your alley.

    As soon as I was done reading Tank's Pearl I one-clicked Pearl's Blaze and I started reading it right away. I ended finishing it in one day which is very rare for me since I have 2 little ones. I loved every minute of Pearl's Blaze.
    I loved that we were able to find out who Pearl really was without Tank in the background. In Tank's Pearl it was more about what Tank wanted instead of what Pearl really needed. We were also able to see how Pearl's loving nature affected the people around her. Because of her we were able to see the softer side of not only Marcus but Doc, Trip as well as the other brothers of the club. One of my favorite parts of Pearl's Blaze was when Doc let his feelings be known. He told Blaze that he needed to stay away from Pearl because he felt that Blaze wasn't good enough for Pearl. Doc wouldn't back down no matter what. I loved that Doc was willing to do anything to protect Pearl and her girl even if it meant going against his pres.
    As the story continued I feel in love with Marcus. The way he developed into a loving family man who would do anything to keep Pearl and the girls and her unborn baby safe. I loved that from the moment Marcus found out about the baby he knew without a doubt that it was his baby. I kept falling more in love with Marcus. I felt that him and Pearl were a perfect match.
    What I wasn't really fond of was Tank's return. To me it was messed up all the process Pearl made. Tank came back to town still believing Pearl did him wrong. What pissed me off the most was once he found out what really happened, he thought he could just pick up where he left off 4 months ago. I think he isn't worthy or mature enough for Pearl. He should try and put Pearl first instead of what he wants.
    My favorite part of the whole book was when Marcus asked Pearl to marry him and she realized that the engagement ring match the collar he gave her. When he told her that he had it made at the same time showed me that he always wanted to put Pearl first.
    I cant wait to see what happens next. I really hope that Pearl and Marcus get their HEA the deserve. I also hope Tank gracefully backs down and finds someone who is better suited for him.
    I'm counting down the days until I get to read Pearl's Awakening

    Compelling storyline that holds your attention from start to finish (warning there is a cliffhanger). The characters were interesting but could have been more developed. I found myself more connected with the story itself than with the characters. Pearl is kind of annoying and really immature considering her age and the fact that she's a single mom. Blaze is my favorite character, he's mature and consistent in his feelings and his actions. Tank is very immature and flighty. My biggest issue though was the grammar of the dialogue of all the characters. These are supposed to be bikers so would use mostly slang and contractions instead the grammar is extremely formal to the point that I had to mentally change it to everyday language because it drove my crazy. When is the last time you heard a biker say, "Lord Pearl. Stop with the hundred and one questions. I am fine, there are no bruises anywhere else, it was a rather one sided fight." Would really like to see language for fitting for the characters.

When Tank finds out the truth about HIS Pearl he feels he must go to her and make it all better to claim her as well. Pearl warns Tank to stay away and not come near her. As Pearls anger is out of control, Layla enters the picture again and has surely underestimated what kind of woman Pearl really is and feels every bit of what Pearl dishes out. When Tank finally finds Pearl and Blaze together all hell breaks loose causing Pearl to gather her girls and run again as her life is spiraling out of control as Pearl realizes she loves both men who make her fly and the past issues with her dead husband. Will Pearl be able to handle the past that is coming to haunt her and be honest with herself as well as Blaze and Tank? I am on pins and needles waiting for book 3 to see how this one ends.     I can’t get enough of this series! After finishing Tank’s Pearl I quickly wrote my review because I had to get on to this book to see what was going to happen with Pearl. . At the end of book one Pearl locks eyes with Tank that fateful night he leaves her there to be brutalized by two men.

    After feeling more than he knew he should after having Pearl at the Dungeon with Tank’s permission, Blaze has come in as Pearl’s knight in shining armor. What does Blaze have to offer Pearl that she just can’t refuse after being left at the lowest point in her life by the man she loved?

    If you want a read with a lot of hot and dirty sex that has you, along with Pearl, falling for yet another biker who happens to be the Prez of the Devil’s Iron MC this is just the book for you. Now I’m off to read Pearl’s Awakening and hopefully get my fill of yet another MC read that has me turning pages as fast as I can.

    Pearls Blaze a blazing hot five-star read. This is the 2nd book in the Devils Iron MC series, it picks up after the cliff hanger of the first book Tanks Pearl, and this one also come with the warning that it’s not suitable for some readers as it contains graphic violence and extreme sexual situations, and they weren’t kidding. It was hot and hard, but also a little upsetting in some places, but it was there for a reason and It did make the story. It should also come with the warning this book will cause ugly cry and heart break.
    Pearl faces choices in this book that most wouldn’t give her, does she get over what happens in the first book? Does she forgive him? Or does she just get on with life and forget him. Blaze or Markus as he likes Pearl and her children to know him fell for her in a big way in a scene from Tanks Pearl, but she was going to be his brother’s Old lady he couldn’t go there. But after Tank left, he comforts Pearl and they both start to realise they need each other. Blaze needs her because he can’t seem to function without her, she is always on his mind. The only thing is will he push her too far this time?
    Pearl needs to take some time to herself and make some decisions and allow herself to come to terms with what happened at the end of Tanks Pearl and after Doc and Trip have been watching over her she starts to feel more safe but she still feels broken, will falling into the arms of another man help her get over everything she has lost or will a big surprise help her realise what she truly needs? Only time will tell.
    This was a great 2nd story and I read it in one night, meaning I had very little sleep for work, but I didn’t care. All I could think about all day was getting home to start book 3, this series has me hooked and you would be a fool not to pick it up. GM Scherbert writes some seriously hot scenes but she also writes some that break your heart. Making you wonder if you will ever be fixed again like Pearl.

Because of her loving ways we were able to see the softer side of not only Marcus but Doc, Trip as well as the other brothers of the club. (One of my favorite parts of Pearl's Blaze was when Doc stood up to his Prez). Literally telling him to back of, Blaze that he needed to stay away from Pearl because he felt that Blaze wasn't good enough for Doc didn't back down no matter what. I loved that he was IN Pearl's corner ready to protect Pearl and her girl even if it meant going against his pres.
    As the book flowed with such ease, I fell madly in love with Marcus.     What I really didn't like was the return of Tank. To me he had no place been any where near this beautiful relationship and all the process that Pearl had made. Tank coming back to town after whoring and drinking his sorrows away for 4 months was a disgraceful show of an immature man, still believing Pearl did him wrong.
    What MADE ME SO ANGRY the most was once he found out what really happened, he thought he could just pick up where he left off 4 months ago. I DON'T WANT HIM TO BE WORTHY he IS NOT MATURE enough for Pearl. That's not the way the book is going to go, I would never forgive a man who left me like that and it spoils for me this beautiful story between Marcus and Pearl.
    My favorite part of the whole book was when Marcus asked Pearl to marry him and she realized that the engagement ring match the collar he gave her. When he told her that he had it made at the same time showed me that he always wanted to put Pearl first. He was the one who put her back together again after her horrendous ordeal, not Tank.
    I am not sure I want to see what happens next. I have the book all ready and waiting, but getting mighty fed up with these men been forgiving for been utter bastards and for me what he did is unforgivable.
    I really hope that Pearl and Marcus get their HEA they deserve. I also hope Tank gracefully backs down and finds someone who is better suited for him. How any man who claims he has found the love of his life and do that to her is not a man but a coward.
    I will read book 3 I have to find out what happens, but for the first time in a very long while I don't want to read it but I will, I do not want Tank to be forgiving.

    Well, she's done it again! - Brilliant continuation of the first story, Tank's Pearl (which needs to be read before this one!). Without giving too much away, this continues on pretty much from the first book, with Pearl trying to recover, Blaze trying to claim her and Tank........well Tank has pretty much gone off radar! There were a few moment towards the end of the first book, when Blaze 'hinted' at his real feeling for Pearl, even though he came across at first as a bit arrogant and sexist (but oh so HOT), but all will be revealed in this second book. Pearl shows just how strong and feisty she can be (hint.....don't get on her wrong side!!), and Tank....well lets just say that he has a lot to catch up on. I really loved this book, can't wait for the last in the series, especially after the ending of this one (although I did send some 'virtual' rude words to the author when I finished it at 2.40 am! - if you read it you will know what I mean). Well done to the author!
