    Damned fine read. Spoiler alert.

    This one starts with Dillon Warrick, ex special forces who now works for Alan Manzone as a bodyguard. He got the position through his best friend Graham Carter who's gay. Warrick is far from gay and has used his position to grab as much sex as he can and there are loads of willing females out there.

    Warrick was wounded on his last deployment to the sandbox, or so he thinks. His memory has loads of blanks in it. All he can remember is a woman with black hair and whatever happened was so horrific his mind just doesn't want to remember.

    Rachel has been his love since high school and she still lives in the same house. Rachel always welcomes him back from each deployment and they are best friends and f***k buddies. She's a woman he always comes home to.

    Graham's current love is a psychiatrist named Zac, and Zac has been working with Dillon to try to bring those memories home. Dillon also suffers from PTSD so Zac has plenty to work with.

    In Tokoyo, Japan they were on downtime when Dillion became involved with Manzon's ex wife. Something he knew he shouldn't have allowed to happen, but happen it did. Graham is doing his best for his best friend Warrick but Warrick hasn't made it easy.

    So begins one damned fine read.

    This one has Dillon, Rachel, Graham, Zac, a home invasion where Warrick was badly hurt, a Warrick who doesn't remember he married Rachel, Rachel's son Cody, a Warrick who delves into Rachel's financial records to see if he can help her with money, a line of money she has, a line of money Warrick wasn't aware of, a Graham who set him straight on that money and from where and whom it comes from, a Graham who got him a townhouse years ago, a Graham who knows the whole story but won't tell Warrick because Warrick needs to remember what happened on his own, a Rachel who is always there for him, a Warrick who finally gets his memories back and a Warrick who now knows exactly what happened, who his friends are, who his wife and son are and a man doing his best to figure it all out and pursue his life and love.

    Five Stars.

    The is the second installment of the Locked and Loaded series and although you see Graham in this story, it happens pre-Leland. I found Dillon to be a very unlikeable character at first -- a real slut with no moral compass. The whole first part of the story of his time of debauchery with his employer's ex-wife, Shyla, was confusing and was ultimately unresolved as to repercussions for this slutty behavior except to sort of bring in the arc of his ptsd and Graham's handling of it. However, perhaps the reader was supposed to be as confused as poor Dillon was in his head when you finally learned the reasons for his ptsd. The hook is a real kick in the behind. I would have given this four stars except for his time with Shyla.
