    I loved reading Marisol and Chase's story. The chemistry between them was hot and sweet. Chase is a delicious alpha hunk and Marisol a rising Broadway star. Together they have obstacles to face and some scary people it seems are after Marisol. Chase is strong and very protective.

    I liked the Broadway connection and the behind the scenes we are exposed to. Marisol's friends are fun and they even have a mystery about Marisol's apartment going on that was interesting.

    All in all, I enjoyed the book very much.

    I was given an ARC of this book and my opinions are my own.

    I enjoyed this book immensely, since it has an interesting storyline, with plenty of intrigue. When the innocent Marisol meets the worldly Chase, there is an instant connection. Marisol always suspected she had a passionate nature; it always came out whenever she danced, but she isn’t remotely prepared for what Chase makes her feel or the way she behaves. There is a wildness in Marisol she never knew existed. Chase is determined to keep Marisol safe and happy, while trying to convince her that they belonged together long term; this is despite all the demands of her career, her family issues and the fact there might be people who intend her harm. Added to this is the inherent mystery about the apartment she has moved into, making this an enticing read. This is a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.

    Chase didn’t know Yuri had a daughter, but had agreed to pick her up from the Airport and keep an eye on her until Yuri’s subsequent arrival in New York; it seemed Marisol’s well-being was really important to him. What had been a chore, suddenly turns into something a lot more pleasurable the moment Chase meets Marisol. With Yuri being Russian, Chase had expected a ballerina, whereas Marisol is being cast in a Broadway show; it is just a small part, but she was also understudying the principal female role. Marisol and Yuri have been in contact for less than a year; after the initial shock, Marisol decides to get to know Yuri, but establishing a genuine connection is challenging. Yuri is trying to draw her into a world where she isn’t at all sure she wants to be. Yuri has legitimate security concerns where Marisol is concerned and is keeping her connection to him quiet. Yuri buys Marisol an apartment in the Arcadia. But it is not just any apartment; it is one that contains an air of mystery. Growing up Marisol’s mother and grandmother have kept her safe, while giving her every chance to fulfill her dreams; as such she hasn’t had much of a social life and has been taught to be cautious about men. The values of courage and self-respect have been instilled in her too. Marisol’s grandmother had warned her to be careful, because the rich lived in a world all of their own. At such a critical point in her life, when she is already facing so many challenges, Marisol feels a sudden surge of panic; did she really want to risk losing touch with herself. When Marisol first met Chase he had seemed taken aback and confused, which she had found endearing; as a woman who has travelled across a continent to fulfill her dreams, she knew what she wanted. Not a single man has ever affected her like Chase did, while he has never reacted to a woman as he has to her, not as suddenly or anywhere near as strongly. As the story enfolds, Yuri’s past comes back to haunt him; as old memories are relived, danger is never far away. Marisol has a chance to make Broadway history, but will her dreams ever be realised? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

    Chase Hollis is asked by his friend and client Yuri Volkov to watch after his newly discovered American daughter who is coming to New York. Frustrated that he never knew his friend had a daughter and now he wants him to babysit her. That is until he sees her and is shocked by how he is drawn to her and their instant connection.

    Marisol Silva has recently learned about her father who she is trying to get to know. When he finds out she lands her dream job as a dancer on a new Broadway show he sets her up in the luxurious apartment Arcadia. She is a simple woman who grew up with a single mother and grandmother so she isn't comfortable with all these luxuries and wants to walk away until Chase convinces her to give it time to sink in and the shock to wear off. Her father is delayed by business so Chase is making sure she has everything she wants and needs. They are growing closer as time passes then her life is threatened by an unknown man. Will she have to give up her dream, her budding relationship to go into hiding? There is mystery, suspense, danger, budding romance and so much more in this 2nd book in the Arcadia series.
