    This was a pretty good story. I liked Selma, she was a sweetheart who was conflicted in her life. She wanted her father in her life, she loved him very much but she didn’t love living in the community and wanted her freedom. I struggled to connect with Ash. I love OTT guys but he was just too pushy and demanding for me. I did like that he gave her her space to think on a couple occasions instead of hunting her down. I don’t remember Ash’s age being mentioned, I like to know how old my characters are. Selma was 21, if Ash was in his early 30s I would have felt different than say if he was in his early 40s.
    Overall it was a good read. It was sweet and sexy and had a nice ending.

    Completely safe. No ow drama, mild om drama and family drama as h is arranged to marry a boy from another community. This causes issues later in the book. H has been celibate for a long time, not specified how long, h is a virgin. h’s father is a little rough with her near the end. He grabs her by the arms and throws her in her room locking her in.

    It was perchance that he opened an anonymous email, and click on the YouTube link, and saw her. The entire world freeze for him at that moment, his heart started racing, and something else stood at attention and started dripping. Right then and there, he had his people trying to locate her, because he just knew that she belongs to him and he in turn belongs to her.     Will they be able to trust and confide in each other before it is too late? Can they overcome all the machinations being done to thwart their budding feelings?

    The story of Ash and Selma was a fairly typical story and followed a well established trope. I am sure that fans of Ms. Wyatt will enjoy this story. However, in my opinion, the story was one dimensional and the characters had little depth or complexity. I am sorry to say that I did not enjoy this story as much as some of her other books. I voluntarily reviewed this story.

    Selma and Ash, where to even begin with the emotions that this book created? I love Dani Wyatt, her books always leave you feeling fulfilled, happy and well loved. Preacher's Daughter done all this with the added emphasis on hotness. The forbidden, sweet relationship between these two were explosive. I adored every moment of their story, I couldn't get enough! This book is a definite must if you want to swoon.

    Selma/Anastasia is innocent of the worldly material things and sexual feelings until Ash comes into her life. Her preacher father desperately tried to keep her ignorant of those things. However, it was inevitable that her "eyes would be opened".

    If I was to find a fault with this book it is that Ash, at first, was portrayed as a narcissistic man who seemed to stalk Selma.

    That said, there are graphic, sexual descriptions but in my opinion, they were tastefully written.

    Selma is trying to be the good girl that her father wants as part of a religious community but she wants to be set free and with her life at a close college she has a persona Anastasia Snow but someone has come looking for her to offer her everything she could ever dream of. Should she risk everything to make her secret dreams a reality with a man she’s falling fast and hard for or turn her back on it all for the sake of her father?

    Ash Thompson was shocked to his core the day he saw Anastasia Snow, never really believing in love at first sight he’s proved wrong when he’s watching her blog. Knowing he needs to find the woman who has his heart he sets out to find the enigmatic woman but she’s not easy to find, but once he does there is no way he’s giving her up. She was meant to be his now all he has to do is show her that his love is real, is it possible for him to finally have the woman he loves it will her father snatch her away?

    Enjoyable read, lots of drama a possessive alpha male and sweet heroine everything you expect in a Dani Wyatt book.

    This is isn't the first book I have read about a religious cult. I enjoyed the book but it wasn't my favourite on this subject. I loved Ash he was so understanding about Selma and her way of life he was just a man who knew what he wanted and nothing was going to stop him not even a religious community. Loved the epilogues it's always nice to see how there future turned out.
