    This book of stories for language learning shows how teaching can be rewarding. Children enjoy listening to these stories and are never tired of them. The suggested ideas for various activities and games speed up the language acquisition. Chilldren become confident in using the language chunks and it becomes a natural routine through their activities. The accompanied lesson plans are extremely valuable to busy teachers and a never-ending inspiration for new approaches to enhance the learning and motivation. This is a highly recommended book which understands the ways how children learn and also cleverly recycles the language used in previous books.

    This is one of my favourite resources for teaching English to young children in a fun, natural way. The downloadable lesson plans and flashcards (included in the price) are great for busy teachers but there is also plenty of scope for adapting the materials to your own circumstances (size and age of group/room space/teaching style). The stories and games also work well with children slightly older than the recommended age.
    I have been using the ESL Stories for Preschool for over a year now in both 1:1 and group lessons and the children remain enthusiastic, engaged and love communicating in English.

    Vernon先生の “176 English Language Games for Children” と “Teach Your Child English”を最初に購入し、先生のこどもと向き合う姿勢に惚れ込んでこちらを購入。

    この本は、コストをおさえるために購入後に著者にメールして追加の教材をもらう仕組みになっています。追加教材にはflashcardsやそれぞれのレッスンの詳細な進め方（英語）が載っています。音源はないので教える人がすべて読んであげる必要はあります。また、自分でflashcardsを印刷したり切ったりする手間はあります。

    こどもたちに英語を教えたくてこれまでいろいろ試してきましたがうまくいかず挫折しかけていました。この本を使って英語を教え始めたところ、我が家の8歳と5歳は大喜び！最初ははずかしがってなかなか単語を喋ろうとしなかったこどもたちですが、前述の本から良さそうなゲームをピックアップして英語は楽しいものだと認識してもらってからStory 1をはじめました。(Story 2のeight monkeysで毎回笑いのツボにはまっています）
    先日いつものように朗読していると、長男が”At the zoo, Anna sees one snake”と突然一緒に話し出したのでビックリ！！！次男も、「”Over he goes, Yipee”のお話やってー」と言っており、最近では毎日、英語やって！とせがまれるほどになりました。困ったことがあれば著者はすぐにメールの返信もしてくださり、本当にかけがえのない指導者と出会うことができました！！
