    This book demonstrates the power of a good family and having a strong support system especially in the times of hardship and crisis. The characters were diverse, well written and fleshed out perfectly with flaws and all. It highlights that trauma can take a variety of shapes and forms and the emotional and mental scars it can create is not be underestimated. Landon is such a bean 💗 😭 I adore how he is so protective and nurturing to his family especially his brothers and sisters, even at the expense of his own gratification. I am glad he got to the point of resolving the deep issues that were triggering his panic attacks and getting the help he need. He needed a protector like Micah to watch his back as sometimes the protector needs protecting too. The spice 😍 👌 was awesome. To be honest I didn't know what to make of the dom/sub aspect but I could see the merit of it and I'm glad it didn't dominate the element of their relationship. It's complex with an interesting plot that I can see happening in reality.

    It's definitely worth the five star 🌟 rating. Definitely will be reading the eet of the series.

    This is a romantic suspense, another in this wonderful series by Ms. Michaels. I'm so looking forward to Rocko's story!

    Micah and Landon. OMG! These two! Ok, so we know Landon is the oldest brother in the Greene family. He’s Carter’s manager and he is in super protective big brother mode. But knows he needs more help. So the label executive calls in a favor from an old friend and wouldn’t you know it just happens to be Micah. His new brother-in-law’s best friend, basically brother. The man he cannot stop thinking about. The man he almost, almost, almost had a “thing” with. The man who makes him shiver and his heart race. The man whom he is sure is completely capable of destroying him. That man. He is now in charge of his brother’s safety. And it puts them in each other’s direct path. And the chemistry is still there. It’s undeniable. But will they give into it? Or will they be able to fight it, as Micah wants and requires? Because Micah knows that he doesn’t deserve someone as wonderful and loving as Landon. He knows that someone like Landon can never give him what he needs. Or can he? It is an emotional roller coaster with these two. The chemistry is there for sure, but it was hinted at in previous books as well. Well, now we get to see it and yeah, it’s there and it’s explosive. These two men need each other. They are both broken and damaged and they each complete each other perfectly. Micah knows exactly how to read Landon and knows exactly what he needs and when. And Landon loves giving up complete and utter control to Micah, loves letting someone else take charge for a change. They are perfect for each other.

    But wait, there are mysterious blue papered letters being sent to Mr. Greene and Micah has been hired to protect Carter and the rest of the band. The crazy stalker really had me going. I could have sworn I know who it was but I was completely wrong. So no spoilers where the crazy stalker is involved, but I was completely floored when I found out who it was and why and who…

    Annabella writes another beautiful love story between men who are real, and are relatable. And she gives us a little teaser to the next book in the series at the end. Yes, we are out of Greene brothers, but that doesn’t mean the stories have to end. You will have to read the story to figure out who is next. It will so be worth it.

    This is book three in Annabella Michaels' Souls of Chicago Series. It’s time for Landon and Micah’s story! I WAS SO EXCITED! What shocked me the most out of this very mystery filled book was how out of all of them this one is my favorite of the series so far.
    I loved how the author kept me thinking while reading. Trying to figure out who the stalker was and all the little things involved! I loved it! There was also the mystery behind Micah and Landon’s pasts. Each has their own sad stories. Micah’s, more dark and haunting, and Landon’s was heartbreaking in its own way. He’s a man who's just unlucky in love… until he convinces Micah to love him, that is.
    We, of course, get more Greene family love and that is the true warmth of this story. I find the moments when they are all together to be the heartbeat that links it all. This family truly takes in strays lol. First Giovanni, then Ryan, now Micah. And there’s a lot of awesome family announcements happening here as well.
    So, fabulous mystery with a well-placed twist that I found quite smart! There’s super sweet and super sexy going on here and that’s an awesome recipe!
    The epilogue obviously prepares us for book 4 and the infamous Rocko’s story. He’s one I’m wondering about!
    You really DO have to read these in order. Though you can read them as standalones I don’t recommend it because you will miss a lot.

    This series continues to impress! I can't help but love the Greene family, the men they partner up with, and Carter's band mates. This is the 3rd book and focuses on Landon, who manages his brother Carter's band. When fan mail takes on a stalkerish and dangerous tone, the record label brings on addition private security to help protect Carter and the band. Micah, who is Giocanni's friend from book 1, heads up that team.

    Micah and Landon had sparks fly between them when they met up in the earlier books, but nothing eventuated at the time, leaving an awkwardness between them. The chemistry between them is still there, and they find it harder and harder to resist. But both of them have their ghosts haunting them, and they both think the other is better of without them - that they couldn't possibly love someone like him. As the stalker continues to elude them and starts getting closer, the danger just might make them realise what is important in the world.

    It was a well written and beautiful story. These broken characters needed to let down their walls and confide in someone to lighten their burdens. There is a mild D/s theme to this book, but it was tastefully done - I loved how it was explained from each POV, and the reason they needed that dynamic at the time was well thought out. That dynamic shifted as the story progressed as they trusted the other more, and it remained very light rather than taking over the storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed that side of the story which is something I don't usually find I like, so kudos to the author for managing that!

    I'm keen for more in the series, and can't wait to read the next book which now shifts to focus on Rocko from Carter's band. Definitely a series I would recommend.

    A tumultuous journey for these two characters that resulted in an amazing ending but was certainly a difficult ride.

    Micah and Landon are attracted to each other but don't feel that they can be together. They each have an event in their pasts that holds them back. Landon had a bad relationship experience and thinks to that end he doesn't deserve a good relationship anymore. Meanwhile Micah was involved in an operation that didn't end well and now finds himself needing control in his relationship but afraid to ask for it of anyone else. Getting through this with each other was difficult but really brought them together.

    There is lots of connection back to the families in this as well. Micah is essentially family to Giovanni, while Landon is Carter 's older brother, so their families are involved and a big part of them figuring everything out. There is so much guilt from both these men and with the stalking threat going on it all bubbles into concern that needs to be shared with the larger group and ends up affecting unexpected members. It wasn't just about the couple but about everyone.

    There is a direct lead in to Rocko's story next which promises its own emotional journey with a little help from this family.

Landon und auch das Plattenlabel sorgen sich um Carters Sicherheit. Also werden Spezialisten engagiert. Darunter Micah Hamilton, den die Brüder Greene schon von der Hochzeit ihres dritten Bruders Caleb kennen.

    Micah ist gut in seinem Job und will sich auf keinen Fall von Landon ablenken lassen. Leichter gesagt als getan, denn im Grunde würde die Chemie zwischen ihnen stimmen. Doch Micah geht immer wieder auf Distanz zu dem älteren Green-Bruder. Erst als Landon selbst Hilfe braucht, lässt er sich auf ihn ein und es gelingt Micah auch Landon zu halten und wieder aufzurichten. Doch es bleibt kompliziert und der Erpresser ist hartnäckig und scheint immer gefährlicher zu werden.

    Die Geschichte von Micah und Landon hat sich ja schon im ersten Teil der Reihe angedeutet und nun bekommt man auch Erklärungen für das Verhalten der beiden Männer geliefert. Sie machen es sich zu Beginn nicht wirklich einfach und vor allem Micah ist ein sehr komplexer und anstrengender Held. Da möchte man ihn schon gelegentlich schütteln und treten. Allerdings steckt in Micah ein wenig mehr als der abweisende Zauderer, als der er sich erst zeigt.

    Beide Männer haben eine sehr komplizierte Vergangenheit und beide kämpfen mit Schuldgefühlen, die sie zu erdrücken drohen. Allerdings tun sie - nachdem sie sich endlich gefunden haben - gut und sind ein wirklich nettes und harmonisches Paar, das auch noch den gleichen Kink teilt. Wobei es nicht unbedingt ein Kink ist, sondern eben ihrer Natur und ihren Bedürfnissen entspricht.

    Teil drei war nicht ganz so gut wie die ersten beiden Teile. Trotzdem lesenswert und die Geschichte macht nun neugierig auf Rocko, der im nächsten Teil einer der Helden sein wird.

    This is the third book in this series and I loved it. While on tour Landon believes someone is out to hurt his brother Carter who is lead singer of his band Carters Creeds. Micah is hired to be security for Carter and protect him from the person out to hurt him. The chemistry between Landon and Micah is there, but they try to avoid those feelings. Micah feels Landon could do better then have someone with an awful past. Landon has his own secrets of his past he has not told anyone. Can this two beautiful men let go of their past and find the love they both deserve? You will need to read this book and the turn of events will make you gasp.
